DEI = Racism

Back to DEI…

Univ of Utah no longer demanding applicants swear DEI Oaths in order to be considered for hire.

[The] university should discontinue the use of any type of diversity statements or similar practices as part of their unit-level applicant or employee hiring processes,” President Taylor Randall said in an email to administrators.

All this whole thing should have done is proven to everyone that academia is a pointless vestige of...something.

I've posted it before- a company I work with actively stopped recruiting Ivy League schools because the kids coming out of those institutions are literally useless. Many, many more universities are falling the same direction.

This stuff also reminds me why I don't take any academic studies seriously anymore. The bar is comically low, and replication- what used to be the "bedrock" for academia or whatever- is not even considered for things to be published nowadays.
Interesting...

Racism on full display for all to see. This dei medal needs to be pinned on the lapel of the democrats this November.

“Speaking English” is an unearned privilege?

Do “White people” just pop out of the womb magically speaking English? Is it a secret language unlearnable to 20% of the global population?

Effing idiots.

Using "Wikipedia" as a source for a dissertation ought to be grounds for dismissal by itself.
When I wrote my thesis, not too many years ago, there were plenty of tools on the internet that I could run it through to check for plagiarism. While I intentionally did not plagiarism some of my writing wasn't sourced correctly. It was easy to fix. I can see how folks in the past only relying on their own reading, or maybe others, could get dinged for plagiarism through careless use of words or improper sourcing.

That being said, using Wikipedia for your source is borderline retarded since people can put whatever they want in there. I'm always amused at the source list at the bottom and how often times its literally just peoples opinions and is of zero substance.

How does Delta think that this makes good business sense? In what universe does this not backfire?

Ironically..I do the opposite on the internet. Wait..that might not be irony.

Delta sure does the DEI graphic display when you're walking down one of their tunnels to the airplane.

Yes we do.

Unless we aren't born in an English speaking country.

I always get a kick out of this.

Black, Brown, white, Asian

What are you trying to say here ^ lol? Looks like 1 of the 4 is special and different. Is that what you’re trying to convey, that “white” is a special case? Morons.

Check out this nonsense from Axios

Lmao at this one -

  • Plus, chief human resource officers do not plan to scale back their DEI strategies, according to a recent surveyconducted by the Conference Board.

The HR Officers don’t plan to scale back DEI lol? Well of course they don’t - the HR Officers are most likely DEI hires…

And this gem -
We're seeing companies be more clear that diversity is about equal access to opportunity and so we're seeing the terminology change a bit

They try and claim that (D)iversity is about “equal opportunity” (it’s not). Not to mention that any notion of equal opportunity is completely superseded by their pursuit of Equity, which eschews equal opportunity in favor of equal outcomes.

If these demons had their way, they'd deny anyone on that list healthcare.

Then again, Johns Hopkins is now pretty notorious for making up data and kidnapping, assaulting, and trafficking kids, so maybe that's for the better.
