This makes more sense than Konchar, Kennedy, or Lofton deals.

Making the contract guaranteed was the price to pay for the team option in Y4.

I see your point especially after the Lofton and Chandler deals but I do see why they did what they did....

I see your point especially after the Lofton and Chandler deals but I do see why they did what they did....

Chandler to me was because he was “from” Memphis, nothing more.

He was on the last year of his 2 way deal, there's limits to how many games the 2 ways can be active in a season (50 for 1 or 90 for all 3). I think he needs run for the rest of the season to see what you got.

I'm in the minority but I don't hate this deal for Vince. I don't think this team is going to take on extra salary to become a taxpayer next year. If he becomes a rotation piece, that 4th year team option will be a steal...

This deal looks far better than what will kick in for Konchar next year. You will be paying less than half of what you will be paying for a guy who gets DNP-CDs on this dogshit team..
