DEI = Racism

Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Programs
The State of Texas will no longer allow its publicly funded colleges and universities to have Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion or DEI offices. That means they have to be disbanded and employees will have to be reassigned, and there can't be any contractors performing those duties instead. The schools are prohibited from requiring DEI training and ideological oaths. Administrators are also required to testify before state legislative committees that they are complying with the law.

I guess harvard by not doing anything is actually doing something. It might be best if they just admit she was a diversity hire plain and simple. That way they can still get the pat on the back from the communist left.

Lol… just stop hiring white males if that’s what your company wants. No sense in the dog and pony show of “white male hires must be approved by CEO”.

Ah...so they have instituted the Looney Rule.

And she's out

Nice of her to address what actually caused the uproar. Her statements from the hearing would’ve faded if she wasn’t found to be a plagiarist. But alas, she says scholarly rigor is a bedrock value for her and blames her resignation on racism.

“Amidst all of this, it has been distressing to have doubt cast on my commitments to confronting hate and to upholding scholarly rigor — two bedrock values that are fundamental to who I am — and frightening to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus.”

And this being Harvard you know they’re good at screening backgrounds. Makes me think she was chosen regardless of background or qualifications and got promptly and rightly thumped as a result.

With all the plagiarism findings no way Harvard could let her stay. But I’d be shocked if they had no clue from vetting.

she will apparently have another role, so seems plagarism isnt an issue to the school. imo.

So this is the guy replacing Gay on an INTERIM basis. Compare his CV to hers. In a different galaxy than Gay. The idea that she was somehow the person most qualified for that role is absolutely laughable.

Think Harvard will go with the DEI Double Down when they select her replacement?
