Endzone vacation pictures thread……and concerts, apparently

Do any sightseeing there? Just drink beer?
Yeah, we did some sightseeing: All the memorials about the War and Ms. Thatcher, etc. Also went out and communed with the penguins and geese and herons and such. Stanley is a very picturesque town. Wind had been howling for several days before we got there, but it was almost dead calm and warm when we arrived. A really nice visit!

Are you on a cruise, or did you fly? It sounds fascinating, but quite unusual on a typical tour!

You all have given me a goal, but I'm gonna have to keep working overtime for it🤣. We've always wanted to do a cruise, but between the bad days and fear of something happening, we just haven't. I was bored at work,👀😁, and got to googling, and stumbled across river cruises. There's some pretty cool ones, and we wouldn't be hours out from a hospital. They are a little pricey, but it'd be a while before we could go, so I could save the $. IDK, our everything depends on how this surgery goes, but she likes the idea also.

If you book a cruise you will most likely want to get travel insurance. Mostly for the possibility of being evacuated to a hospital.
You'll want her Dr. to put in his notes that she is "fit to travel". That will keep the insurance company from denying a claim for "preexisting condition" if there is a problem.

We are going on a river cruise this year for our 10 year anniversary. I thought Africa was a spendy trip, but this one for sure.

Good info, thank you

I'd love to do one of those river cruises. I did a Caribbean cruise once years ago and learned that my wife does not tolerate boats very well. I would think the river would be smooth.
