Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

No it isn’t. He would have been broken in 2 playing against the Pistons, Celtics, 76er’s, Knicks, etc…

You're telling on yourself that you don't know basketball. I mean, the use of hyperbole is a red flag. You think because you've seen that he flops (for strategic reasons) and sells fouls to manipulates the refs, that he's not tough. Check this out...Bulls and Pistons (the most bitter rivals) played each other 13 times this season and this is all the carnage they could compile. Pretty fkn tame, to be honest.

Now watch this:

Lebron got up and kept playing every time. He's a physical player who even though this era is less physical in the paint, he is still defended physically. He's logged the most minutes, games, etc. The 80's and 90's are not breaking this man.

About the same time that most defensive schemes used today were “illegal defense” but no one talks about that

MJ literally said that rule would have changed his career. It's in the Chicago Tribune on record. You couldn't double off ball. You couldn't even shade the double off-ball. You take two steps towards the double, and they're calling illegal D. Imagine Lebron's career if teams couldn't do that to him? That's how the Mavs beat him in the finals. Everybody said "MJ would never....in that series." yeah, because nobody could defend him like that in the first place.

He has 4 rings to Stockton's 0, 4 Finals MVPs to Stockton's 0, but he "doesn't have the mental toughness." Painfully stupid

"Racist" to compare 6'1 170 pound Stockton to 6'8 260 pound LeBron, who basically never got injured until he was 35+. Not making your point look any less stupid
He also didn’t change teams to find loaded opportunities. Lebron is a great player, but he’s a flopper and a crybaby

Based on nothing then lol, if anything Kobe welcomed LeBron to the Lakers very openly and clapped back at the people (like those in this thread) trying to put them against each other
If Kobe and LBJ were teammates, he would dog the hell out of him. I was not a Kobe fan, but you can't argue about his work ethic. I don't think LBJ works as hard as Kobe. If Kobe dogged out Shaq for being lazy, he would have definitely had smoke for LeBron.

On a side note, did we ever find out who spray painted N-word on LeBron house? You mean no security cameras or Ring cameras caught anything?

Which one had the “mental toughness” to actually win a championship? To be the best player on his team and the focus of other teams night in and night out? This isn’t a debate

LeBron is still one of the best players on the planet at age freaking 39, not sure how one does that when they “don’t work as hard”

To be fair, no one worked as hard as Kobe.

Ray Allen should have gotten one of those MVPs and Kyrie Irving another one.
Unserious take lol LeBron carried both of those teams. For the one where you want Kyrie, pretty sure LeBron led BOTH teams in the 5 major statistical categories (and may have done that in the 2015 Finals too where Iguodala won a joke of an MVP)
