always has been. thats all any special interest group resolves into at the higher levels.

sure the majority of those involved have good intentions, but the people in charge, the people who push the "group" forward are all harboring exploitation.

I think in light doses, it works but with the cult like focus it has today, it backfires.

It causes more racial and cultural division. I think it needs to be there but extremely toned down.

I think the constant talk about history and how white people oppressed people doesn't work either. It makes black people/Africa look like victims that never accomplished anything in their history (wrong, there is tons of history on that continent that doesn't involve slavery that has never been explored) and it makes all white people look like Nazis from the past. It just doesn't work. Also the history is very selective and leaves out a lot of details that would change the narrative if it was taught accurately.

A great example of DEI being handled improperly is the new history that Japan was a victim in the 1930s and 1940s and they went to war because of white colonialism and they were looked down by the West. This is a very bad narrative in history and downplays the cruelties of the Japanese regime towards China, Korea, the Philippines and other nations in the area. I don't think Japanese people today need to apologize for stuff that happened before they were born (no more than I think white people should apologize for slavery that happened long before any of them were born) but it is a bad narrative in history and white washes all the aggression around Fascist Japan.

You get similar scenarios, in my opinion, about Islam. A lot of their aggression is not explored or white washed but anything the West did toward Islamic World is front and center and explained very poorly (i.e. the Crusades).

DEI is a lot of things, in addition to being the wellspring from which “Jewish genocide might be bad” flows.

But it’s also big business. Worth over $10B globally, and on pace to be worth $25B.

But all jokes aside it’s just another incoherent aspect of the ideology. Black males occupy an Oppressed square on the matrix.. which makes them by definition incapable of oppressive behavior. It’s bollocks.
