I need 2 more linebackers so Herring and Telander aren't in the 2 deep, and I still need a better DC.

Definitely need more athleticism at LB. Telander might end up being an OK option and Herring might be OK in spot duty as a true Mike or at DE, but he had no chance in coverage or playing in space.

I think Telander will be good, he's just not ready yet. I have no hope for Herring.

That's my thing with Herring, he didn't look athletic at all when he was out there. So slow, and honestly looked small imo.
