So the regular season means diddly squat. The CFP is based on how a select group of people feel that certain teams will perform.... in the future. Must have a DeLorean.Committee chair Boo Carrigan explicitly said FSU is not the same team as they were earlier. If Travis were healthy, they put Florida State in.
Bama had to have a last second play (where the refs missed an obvious holding call on Bama) to beat a 6-6 Auburn team. Your argument holds no water IMO.Bama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams, FSU has 2 (one of which was against a not very good Louisville team last night) against a much weaker schedule.
I am surprised (actually Im not) that so many Vol fans can’t see this Bama team is BY FAR better than this FSU team.
It’s not that bama isn’t better. It’s that FSU is an undefeated P5 team, it’s that the games that are played no longer matters. 13 people can decide whatever tf they wantBama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams, FSU has 2 (one of which was against a not very good Louisville team last night) against a much weaker schedule.

So Bama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams and FSU has 2 (their second was last night) against much weaker competition….thats not opinion and looking at the whole season. That's the problem. It is all opinion and conjecture. That is why you should look at the whole season and look at who earned the spot. Eye test? Please.
Exhibit A: Joe Milton, 2022, vs Vanderbilt:The committee didn't prejudge, they held steady and gave FSU two games to demonstrate that their team was still playoff caliber. That didn't happen in either game. Instead, their offensive production in both games fell off a cliff by nearly every observable metric, compared to the rest of the season. Two very bad offensive outings coinciding with the loss of their starting QB. After watching those two games the committee believed that FSU's offense had been damaged enough to warrant dropping them out. Good defense notwithstanding, they had enough information to decide FSU wasn't the same team.
Why is it so hard to understand the committee doesn't care? They only care about trying to get the best 4 teams in, not the 4 most deserving. I don't understand why so many people can't seem to grasp that and keep harping on who is more deserving.I agree with a lot of what you say. We are biased against Bama, no doubt. I don't agree that Bama should be in. Undefeated conference champion. Why is this so hard?
We are not going to agree. Go Vols!!So Bama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams and FSU has 2 (their second was last night) against much weaker competition….thats not opinion and looking at the whole season.
And another non-opinion is that Bama would be favored in Vegas by at least 2 TDs against FSU.
They also have another thing FSU does not have. A loss.So Bama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams and FSU has 2 (their second was last night) against much weaker competition….thats not opinion and looking at the whole season.
And another non-opinion is that Bama would be favored in Vegas by at least 2 TDs against FSU.
So what? Oregon and UGA were both favored yesterday too. Games are played for a reason. So Bama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams and FSU has 2 (their second was last night) against much weaker competition….thats not opinion and looking at the whole season.
And another non-opinion is that Bama would be favored in Vegas by at least 2 TDs against FSU.
I only got em for about 250I can retire!!!

Keep carrying that Bama water. Not sure why you would as a Dawg fan.The committee didn't prejudge, they held steady and gave FSU two games to demonstrate that their team was still playoff caliber.
