So the regular season means diddly squat. The CFP is based on how a select group of people feel that certain teams will perform.... in the future. Must have a DeLorean.

Bama had to have a last second play (where the refs missed an obvious holding call on Bama) to beat a 6-6 Auburn team. Your argument holds no water IMO.

It’s not that bama isn’t better. It’s that FSU is an undefeated P5 team, it’s that the games that are played no longer matters. 13 people can decide whatever tf they want

If bama was the 13-0 team and Milroe just got hurt do you really think 12-1 Fsu jumps them? Absolutely not

So Bama has 4 wins against current top 25 teams and FSU has 2 (their second was last night) against much weaker competition….thats not opinion and looking at the whole season.

And another non-opinion is that Bama would be favored in Vegas by at least 2 TDs against FSU.

Exhibit B: Joe Milton, 1 month later, vs a stout Clemson defense:
19-28, 251, 3 TD

It’s almost like it’s completely unfair to judge a backup QB and his offense before they get a whole month of practices with him as the starter.

Why is it so hard to understand the committee doesn't care? They only care about trying to get the best 4 teams in, not the 4 most deserving. I don't understand why so many people can't seem to grasp that and keep harping on who is more deserving.

You can disagree with their goal, but to act like their goal is the same is yours despite mountains of evidence is kind of baffling.

All 4 teams this year will be Big10 or SEC next year. I guess the committee is saying going undefeated in another conference is no guarantee in the 12 teams ranking that you will be above a 1-loss team from the Big 2 conferences. Sure more teams get in next year, but there is seeding ramifications to this.

Seriously, what are we doing here?

So what? Oregon and UGA were both favored yesterday too. Games are played for a reason.
