I remember that when he punched a UT coed in the head, because she was within arm's reach, Saban clamed it was self-defense and Sankey ranted against our fanbase.

Everyone wants to overthink it.

Michigan (undefeated conf. champ)
Washington (undefeated conf. champ)
Florida State (undefeated conf. champ)
Texas (1 loss conf. champ with H2H win over other conf. champ).

First out: Alabama (1 loss conf. champ with H2H loss to other conf. champ), Georgia (1 loss non-champ), Ohio State (1 loss non-champ), Oregon (2 loss non-champ).

It kinda sucks because it's going to push us to a lower bowl but this is how it should be done, and honestly it's pretty straightforward. Yes, FSU looked terrible but they won. Their defense is championship caliber. They'll get their backup back for the playoff so the offense should be improved.
The committee can leave fsu out and get validated because it would put them vs UGA in the orange bowl and it would be a beat down.

If it’s merit/resume based:
Michigan, Washington, FSU, Texas.

If it’s subjective based on best team it’s:
UGA, Michigan, Bama, OSU

If it’s anywhere in between, it’s corrupt and they will rationalize the heck out of whatever stupid solution they come up with. And it still will be highly debatable and unclear where their priorities are in their selection process.

It should be as easy as head to head and undefeated conf champ.

You all know it won't be.

Fsu getting left out is way easier to get away with.

But if Bama gets in over Texas............ Man you really gotta question scheduling in the future. It would appear under that scenario there's no benefit at all from scheduling a big ooc game anymore.

No matter what they do.... There's gonna be some 'splainin to do.... Good luck!

Could you imagine what would’ve happened to toot toot if he did this to us?

Not a dang thing. Lol people would talk that smack until it was time to step to someone the size of an SEC LB. Prob a bunch of internet tough guys would send him death threats tho. That’s about the extent of it

What Booger said during the broadcast last night I wholeheartedly agree with. If you're just picking the best teams on paper then why are we playing the games? And if H2H doesn't matter then why on Earth would a team schedule a H&H series like Texas V Alabama in the future.

It has to matter. FSU is undefeated and won the ACC. They've earned it, and anything can happen in the postseason.

If you leave out FSU or Texas then that ramps up the "regular season doesn't matter anymore" complaints.

ESPN, who would probably have a better idea than most, is hanging these odds

Just looking at these lines in general. Jesus, ESPN Bet has TERRIBLE odds. Like by far the worst out there. I hope people don't use this one a lot

1. Where's the Sugar on here?
2. This scenario has Georgia and Bama out and FSU in. The hypothetical we are dicussing is Bama in and FSU out.

So that would send FSU to the Orange Bowl and Georgia to the Sugar. Georgia would play the best Big12 team. FSU would get the 3rd best SEC team, which would be either Mizzou or Ole Miss.

Edit, unless Sugar is playoff and taken out this year as @RikidyBones said

Texas yes. FSU no. FSU isn't being left out because they are the same team and it's simply eye test. There's a major injury and FSU has half the production on offense because of it. FSU plays UGA in the orange and it'll be validated. The complaints stop shortly after the New Year.

Bama should be left out of the playoff for multiple reasons, but to keep this douche canoe from a chance at a NC is top 5 for me.

Honestly I dont see how UGA drops out of the top 4 after losing by 3 to a top 10 team. I feel like they will drop to 3 and the top 7 looks like:
1. michigan
2. Washington
3. UGA
4. fsu
5. Texas
6. Bama
7. OSU
So this would put the SEC runner ups in instead of the champs..and knock Texas out who beat Bama in Tusc…Saban would sh!t his pants..lol..and honestly I don’t give a rat’s a$$ if Bama gets screwed but it does bother me if Texas gets screwed..That is messed up.. in the meantime, Saban will do this:

😂😂

The statement BEST 4 teams is a flaming bag of dog ****...

The committee has never had BEST teams in playoffs....

It's the most deserving they choose...saying that they may change this year with a little Sankey influence...

Which is another blaming bag of dog ****....

Because the eye test is important, if FSU came out and dominated Louisville tonight then there is no debate.

Its all about who are the best teams playing their best ball at the end of the season.

My main argument for UGA is bias about their past, so if you can ignore that then Texas should be in.

But between Alabama and FSU given the games that were played today, who LOOKS like they belong. A team who just beat #1 or a team struggling with a 2 loss team?
So the whole playoff is based on 1 weekend. 1 game eye test ????
Between FSU today and Bama that should of lost last week to Auburn—- FSU looks like they belong.

FSU won’t be starting a true FR 3rd string QB in the playoffs.
