The bold is a deserving argument. Nobody disputes that. It's a matter of whether FSU is a legit top 4 team without Travis and whether the committee will select the 4 most deserving or the 4 best teams. FSU is in with the former and out in the latter.

Also, we 💯 were not the same team without Hooker. I would have hoped this season's disappointment on offense (particularly passing offense) would be a stark reminder of that.

It’s exactly what Sanky came out today and said it would be ludicrous if two SEC didn’t make it in. After I read that, I knew the gumps would win and told my brother that Bama would win when he came over to watch. That’s the only way both could, I’m interested in how the FSU game goes and see if little UT gets screwed.

They’ll select the most deserving teams. Always have. They say “best” but if that was the case TCU or Cincy would have never sniffed a playoff.

Agreed, which is why I'm rooting for FSU (for the lulz).

However, they ought to select the 4 best teams, and in that case, Bama should be in over FSU.
