He had a guy on his show last week that is some sort of portal guru that said they work around this by contacting a player's high school coach and say is said player interested in hitting the portal for $x and playing at such and such school. He used the term portaling to substitute for tampering.

I never said that it was going to happen. I said that it needs to happen. The key would be that you have to make it known that punishment for violations would be swift and extremely punitive.

I've got news for you. There are A LOT of programs that are FAR BETTER at cheating than Tennessee, and you don't even have to look outside the SEC Conference for this statement to be true.

Pearce I've seen projected as a top 10 pick, he played extremely well this year. I'd be more surprised if teams weren't trying to lure him away then teams trying to.
