Very happy with where we stand with Heupel after three years. Just to be clear.Joe was always going to play in the bowl game. CJH has said all year this is Joe's team and he's stuck to it. Won't change now unless Joe decides to opt-out, which he has given zero indication he's even considering.
It’s beyond frustrating because we need to see how these kids do with live reps and not just hope they all develop. We have seen how some haven’t come along and it hurt us.Yep. Nico gets better every game. Wish he'd had more live reps this year. And I wish they'd do halves in the bowl game. That's really not CJH's style, but one can hope. The younger guys are ready to work.
idk it’s like the best RB in the country came from a D2 school.Show me the G5 players that have jumped levels and done well? More P5 players have jumped to better situations then G5 players jumping and doing well.
Where did I say that? Don’t back track now. I never once compared him to hendon. He’s an average at best QB who is lucky he plays in our style of play. Love him to being a VFL and giving his all, but you can’t sit a phenom QB now when he needs all the reps he can get. We have two more seasons with Nico. Unless we get real lucky.Except he also said Joe didn’t play well.
It’s on you if you think Joe Milton sucks bc he’s not HH. He’s a decent QB. Nothing more, nothing less. Couldn’t overcome any deficiencies that HH could mask.
Agree that more live reps would have been very productive, and it's unfortunate that didn't happen, but this staff sticks to their philosophies. They play the veterans while developing the younger talent, and CJH staffs to promote from within. They value experience, prioritize stability and reward loyalty, and while that could change, it has not. It's unfortunate too.
Love reps are invaluable, the offense probably looks like crap against NCST next year because it's the first real reps Nico is going to get. Already building in excuses for next year.
Sure bud. I’m the one embarrassing myselfIt’s really easy with money. You’re correct, good job! That’s the only intelligent thing you said in your post.
Quit being an idiot. You’re literally embarrassing yourself. NIL for a reason.
@Geaux_VolsWhat was dudes name that is a Vol fan but works for Tulane I think it was?
Velus Jonesidk it’s like the best RB in the country came from a D2 school.
Carson Steele played well
Devontez Walker
Braden Fiske
Andre Carter
Jamari Thrash
Want me to keep going? If not, go sit in a corner
You said name G5 guys that have done well. I did. I even said I’d name more lmaooooVelus Jones
Bru McCoy
Don't Thorton(was coming into his own before the injury)
Omar Norman Lott
Kamal Hadden
Krajc(idk how to spell it, played well before injury.)
Gerald Mincey
John Campbell
For every lower level guy you can name, I can find multiple P5 guys, the ones I named were just Vols.
Go away troll.
I agree more live reps would have been productive for the younger talent and the team, but this staff works how they work. I think the season got away from them a bit. They expected it to go one way, which would have meant more PT for some of the younger guys-- especially Nico-- but some games went sideways. CJH probably wishes Nico would've gotten more reps throughout the season. And yes, some of the guys have developed slowly. It’s beyond frustrating because we need to see how these kids do with live reps and not just hope they all develop. We have seen how some haven’t come along and it hurt us.
Ainge said JG was good in practice and had ability. He also said that when the defense disguises things/gave him different looks he got confused and had no idea what to do.Lol Ainge. You mean a former QB defending a QB? Same one who said JG was awesome. That Ainge?
