Herring could be a bust but it’s too early to tell. People gave HankHill when he said Banks and Beasley would be good when they were struggling and he was correct. Everybody plays slow when they don’t know what they are doing…

I always said Beasley was gonna be good...however I was meh on Banks future.

We know he was a starter, we know he played well (game ball), we know he was a 2-year captain at BYU, and we know that he was brought in specifically because coaches didn't think the young guys behind him were ready to carry the load yet. But no, I doubt he is the best linebacker ever, although in fairness, I doubt anyone ever said that he was.

I just think the fact that so many big runs against us this year were run right at the spot he was no longer in speaks to his importance. I believe he would have been in the right spot and made tackles on those plays.
