Exactly, had they even just brought 4 and dropped everyone else back he probably doesn’t get the time to just sit back and wait. I could handle losing easier with making the quarterback make a quick or perfect throw under duress and knowing we played it straight than being in the marshmallow 2 man front. Heck I would rather bring 5-6 and get bet going after them than playing weak soft D with zero pressure on the quarterback. That is about the worst weak way to lose a game.

I was replying to another poster. I don't know if it's real or not but it's something to keep an eye on..... maybe. 🤷

I have been so mad about this and explained my frustration countless times since I watched the last 4 minutes of the game in the customs line coming back to the states.

You first line up with 4 down lineman and the prevent defense. Good job auburn. Then you call a timeout, giving Alabama more time to think over their play call. IDIOTS. Dont overthink it! Then you come out with 3 down lineman against a mobile qb. You might as well not even play the linemen. What a waste! BUT WAIT THERES MORE! You line up 2 linebackers?? The qb is at the 25 yard line on the last possible play of the drive. Do you really think he’s going to run it 25 yards and have nobody get to him before he gets to goal line? Do you really think he’s going to throw a short pass and hope it gets to the goal line? What on earth are those linebackers there for? He has one play to get the ball in the end zone. Your only objective here is the exact opposite of their objective, make sure the ball doesn’t come into the end zone unless it is directly into the swatting arms of a db. You should line up with 4 lineman, all pass rushers, and 7 dbs lined up 1 yard behind the goal line. If he throws it short, you close on the ball as fast as possible. If he throws to the end zone you should be well positioned with that many people to make a play on the ball. Instead, you left yourselves with 6 defenders in the end zone and 5 defenders rendered useless to the play. For that, you deserve to lose you idiots!!
