that’s bc the trip plus gifts don’t quite equal the millions of dollars dangled in front of their face at the next level… Can’t fault anyone for the decision they make.

Honestly the decline of sec officiating began when Steve Shaw left. They've been plain bad the past 5 years, irrespective of corruption or alleged meddling by the conference. They're just not as good as other conferences in my opinion.

They were bad then too. I remember the first years of Saban with bama and how much it looked like the refs were helping bama in big games. #theshaweffect

Ohtani wants to be a bandwagon and join a championship team that can win it now or roughly a year out…he won’t be a dodger I can see Yamamoto being a possibility.the dodgers would be in better shape if they got multiple solid bats in the lineup versus filling in one lineup spot getting the big fish..they had multiple holes in the lineup that needed to be upgraded…our batters last year outside of mookie and Freddie were very subpar and spotty..we really missed turner last year it showed.

we were the second highest scoring team in baseball last year…. we do need to upgrade 2nd, SS, and LF….. i’m curious to see what moves we make…. we, supposedly, went below the tax threshold to spen a lot this year…. we shall see.

I agree about not faulting them....
As of rite now Drake Maye plans on playing in Bowl game....
Yea okay ...his advisors will tell him opt out which is correct move....

Disagree.

I would have much preferred it to come via 9 reg season wins and a bowl loss (so I agree that it’s not nearly as meaningful as the reg season performance if you’re not in the playoffs), but I will feel better about this season with a final record of 9-4 than I will if we lose and end up 8-5. Final record matters when judging year to year progress. And I think Huep will have the boys ready to go.

Lux comes back to play SS, move Mookie to 2nd, switch Outman to RF...
Trade for Mike Trout to play center field....sign Matt Chapman for 3rd base...cheaper than some ...
Sing Yamamoto and trade for Dylan Cease....sign John Flaherty let Prior fix him .

Let Ohtani sign with Bluejays which is big rumor now....

Keep young guys Pepiot, Miller, and Buehler is coming back this season....
