This is going to sound cocky, but I've literally done this in my career...I could easily expand their reach and following on social media that would probably result in a massive increase in members. It could be done with a small budget...maybe in the $5k-$10k range per year (none going to me). I emailed them last year and the response I eventually received on this forum from someone who works for Spyre was "sorry, I never saw your email...send it again." Felt like they didn't really want the input, so I just moved on. I didn't ask for anything and had no intention to. I just wanted to help. They've made some moves to increase visibility on social media, but they don't seem to understand that there's a trust and motivation factor involved in getting people to actually do something. I really don't think it would be hard to reach a lot of Tennessee fans online, quickly explain what they do, establish trust with the audience, and influence them to act.
Totally with you, man. Every person I have spoken to that has never heard it is on board once it's fully explained. The problem is, the message is never reaching them without me having to over explain it to them. That is on Spyre, there is a lot more they could be doing to get the message out to the average fan. They are just hamstringing themselves and the program by continuing to just take a "meh" approach to this imo.

You're spot on. The average UT fan has no clue what Spyre is. The visibility sucks. And in this day and age there's no excuse for that.
Admittedly, there are probably a few big issues they are facing. This is just from what I understand, and I could be wrong, but players can't be used in ads wearing anything with UT logos. Now, how many players would the average person recognize if they're not in uniform? Many would recognize Joe Milton but he might not move the needle like you want. A lot of folks would recognize Nico, but he's still new to the majority of fans (we're a minority of the fan base here). That's about it.

Face recognition is something the University side has to help with. If I had a say, the players wouldn't get a single shirt, jacket, etc that didn't have their name and jersey number right on one side of their chest and they would be required to wear certain apparel for any team activity. Then, I would make a huge marketing push for more photos and videos on social media of the team doing almost anything that's appropriate for a public audience and really try to get more of the fanbase to recognize these guys without a helmet and jersey.

For Spyre, make sure every player is named in ads if you can. I may be wrong, but the one Volunteer Club ad I can remember on Facebook had Jordan Matthews and some other Freshmen but none of them were named. Even if they were, how many fans know those guys? Everyone recognizes Heupel, but I'm not sure if he can be in ads. Whatever you're showing to potential members, it has to connect for them without spelling everything out (FB doesn't like wordy photo ads). Maybe they could work with some previous players in ads to help increase visibility...

Hearing we may not have NIL $s available. Know we are putting package for Cade Mayes and Seaton. Not much left.

Sprye needs to get a lot more big donors. I plan to increase my monthly allotment.
If this is true, you can just forget about competing with the big boys

Yeah we need Nico to face live bullets when it matters and the game hasn’t already been decided.
And it would make sense for Joe to start training for pre-draft workouts and leave his last impression on scouts as a 6 TD bonanza. It’s not gonna help Joe to spend another month going through practices for a mid-tier bowl.

Why are we putting together a package for Cade Mays? Assuming that means it's a significant amount. Dude can't stay healthy and as good as he is he's not worth some huge amount.

I’m sure it’s been discussed but looks like Joe is definitely playing in bowl game, according to Hubbs and Cain..
I sincerely hope not.

Heupel really screwing the QB situation this year. Nico should have played much more and now is the time to focus on next year. Nico with all first team reps for bowl practice will do wonders for next year.

There’s also no point in Joe risking injury to play in the Gator/Music City Bowl. Let’s be honest: any chance Joe has to catch on at the next level will depend on him being 100% healthy at draft time.
