He, Mo Clipper, and Masai Reddick were all “projects” when we took them in the 2021 class. Unfortunately, seems like we might be going 0/3 with those guys. Kind of a byproduct of the situation we were in where he had to take what we could get with the NCAA cloud hanging over us.
Help me understand your logic.Maybe. I don’t know who they are. I like the idea of helping with NIL and other things that benefit student athletes but I just have a hard time giving money to people I’ve never met. I didn’t expect them to invite me to a banquet or anything because I haven’t donated much in the past but it would have been a nice gesture. A phone call would have sufficed. Instead they just pointed me to a link to their donation page. It may be different now but at the time UT had not endorsed them.
My word, dude! It’s fans like you that make our fan base one of the most toxic yet the greatest! Heupel took scraps his first year and won seven games, and we all know it was eight games. He wins 11 in his second year. He wins at least eight and maybe nine in his third year with an average at best quarterback, and blatantly biased officiating the entire year. You make up a group that are one of the reasons we can’t have nice things. I expect us to win more next year, but if we win eight games with a redshirt freshman at quarterback, and this new league that we are in, I certainly won’t be disappointed.Don't care that Dooley/Butch/Pruitt couldn't be mediocre. You should not be happy with 8 wins in year 4 of this program.
No idea but it’s sad that Flair is talking about spending so much money on alcohol like it’s some kind of good thing.
It was probably a “cool” thing to brag about back in the day…. He’s old and still hangs out to things that were thought as cool back when he was young. We all do it to some capacity, unfortunately one of his badge of honors is alcohol.
I agree that he took scraps his first year and had a good first year. He was really good last year. This year every team we played was equal or worse than last year except Mizzou. Mizzou is having a great year for them but no way they should've beat us like that. We weren't even competitive. No way we should've lost to a UF team that finished with 5 wins. Bama is not as good as last year and we were up 2 scores at half. We weren't even competitive in the second half. Georgia is what it is but would like to have seen us put up a fight past the first play. I didn't expect this team to win every game. I did expect this team to put up a fight in every game. Got beat by multiple TDs in every loss. You can be happy with that. Doesn't make sense to me but also doesn't bother me that you are a happily mediocre personMy word, dude! I get the sentiment and agree it would be better to be dependent on 10k donors vs 10, but not sure that’s true in reality in this arena. The strength of Spyre will be built on its breadth, not its depth.
Big donors are great, and we need them.
But real power is in 10,000 Vol fans giving $10 a month, not 10 deep pocket donors giving $10k a month. The former is scalable.
In his first season went 9-4…at DUKE. Following Cutcliffe’s final 3-9 effort.
David Cutcliffe won 10 at Duke. Dave Aranda won 12 at Baylor his first year.Winning 9 and 7 games at Duke is like winning 11 at most other places… not even considering Elko did it with his quarterback out quite a bit.. great hire for Aggies. He took over a disaster
Is he 6’7” 280 lb or 6’9” 315 lb? Stark difference between those two, as listed by on3 and 247.South Carolina mods saying them and Tennessee are in on Jalen Travis. All-Ivy OT.
