Noticed Brian Grant was missing…be surprised if he ever sees the field.

He, Mo Clipper, and Masai Reddick were all “projects” when we took them in the 2021 class. Unfortunately, seems like we might be going 0/3 with those guys. Kind of a byproduct of the situation we were in where he had to take what we could get with the NCAA cloud hanging over us.

Hearing we may not have NIL $s available. Know we are putting package for Cade Mayes and Seaton. Not much left.

Sprye needs to get a lot more big donors. I plan to increase my monthly allotment.
The strength of Spyre will be built on its breadth, not its depth.

Big donors are great, and we need them.

But real power is in 10,000 Vol fans giving $10 a month, not 10 deep pocket donors giving $10k a month. The former is scalable.

need to market themselves better. meaning to a wider audience
At this point, Im not sure why they continue to not do this. I've seen a ton of people, myself included list this as the number one barrier and they just seem content with how they market despite the majority of the fanbase still not knowing who or what Spyre is.

They’d have gotten my money if they could have told me how it was going to be used…

are you making an mc hammer joke?
raw

I mean what do you think they are doing with the money? Putting in their pockets? It helps with NIL and other things.
Maybe. I don’t know who they are. I like the idea of helping with NIL and other things that benefit student athletes but I just have a hard time giving money to people I’ve never met. I didn’t expect them to invite me to a banquet or anything because I haven’t donated much in the past but it would have been a nice gesture. A phone call would have sufficed. Instead they just pointed me to a link to their donation page. It may be different now but at the time UT had not endorsed them.

UT endorses them now, so what are you waiting on? They have apparel and items they send to you. There are numerous people on this board alone that vouches for the legitimacy of it. What are you waiting for?

If they factored injuries, Heupel wouldn't have had graded out at 0. Most other coaches would not have went 8-4 given the circumstances and wouldn't have had an opportunity on the road against Bama.

Context matters.
And if you factor in biased officiating the entire year with some of it being blatant, then 8 wins is even more impressive.

I guess I get the sentiment, but after the previous 3 regimes prior to Hype, I said if there was anything I could do to help get the program back I would.

From my perspective my 25.00 a month isn't much on its own, but my hope is collectively it makes some level of difference. To be honest I've taken advantage of the tailgates on games I've been able to attend (Pitt last year and Vandy this past week), and just the food/drink spread would be more than worth the membership if I lived close enough to come to multiple games a year.

We've been able to add to our autograph collection through the website store of players we wouldn't have access to living out of state. And if they do the recruiting gathering again this year I'm planning to make the drive down with my son to experience that as well.

I guess long way of saying, that all things considered I'm not sure I need to know where my money goes, because I feel I get additional value on top of feeling like I'm a part of helping the overall effort of building/maintaining the program.

My advice would be to try it for a couple months and see how you feel about it for yourself. You can always cancel it if you still have reservations.

0/4. Savion Herring was also in that class but has already left.

I’m aware of the context of the situation, but going 0/4 on OL in a year really sucks for the offensive development. Thank God guys like Coop, Sprag, and Mincey had 40 years of eligibility.
