Seriously, I wonder what kind of funny money it would take for them to get Ryan Day to leave tOSU? I'm sure it would be a silly figure quite a bit above Saban.

That’s the thing now that both A&M and Texas are in the league - they have the kind of funny money it takes to get those kinds of coaches, plus throw NIL $$s at players.

I fear they will come to rule the SEC in this new era. Time will tell.

A&M should be going all in on Dabo and he should go there. Time for him to cash in on his success at Clemson. Now that everyone can pay players, Clemson has lost a significant advantage. Dabo needs more resources to be successful and you have a lot of that at A&M.

If that can't happen, honestly, they can do a lot worse than Mark Stoops.

If stoops doesn't get that call from College Station he needs to pray that Iowa opens. Stoops needs to cash in on his reputation (perception) he carries now, before Texas and OU join and the league goes to 9 games. Iowa would be his best fit, for so many reasons. He is a Big Ten West coach. If he can't go there he needs to be on a plane to Mich St.

The problem with that is Dabo has been very clear to anyone with a microphone that he hates how college football is paying players and the NIL and portal landscape. Dabo at A&M would just feel like oil and water because of that.

He is not a great coach. Was born in mid-slide diving across home plate. Yet he is still levitating in that slow motion slide. He would not be elite coaching on a level playing field in the SEC.
