Not being a POS is pretty important.

Barnes is NOTHING like Pruitt.

Definitely learned something new today about Barnes game planning earlier on at Tennessee.

Interview with Grant & Theo Pinson just came out. This is part of it in reference to us playing North Carolina in 2017. Talks about us “setting the tone” at tip-off & eventually SEC cracked down on us doing it. Makes me miss that 2017-2018 team and their edge.

Sorry but most of us like the people representing our university to have better morals and ethics than a pimp, philanderer or a common street hooker. I have come to understand that some of our fans don’t care about that so now it doesn’t even surprise me. Pitino is a slug. End of discussion.

I don’t think that many posters realize it, but if the NCAAT were to play out exactly as seeded - the #9 seed goes 2-1 and is bounced in the S16. Sweet 16s aren’t slam dunks. UT has only gone further one time. EVER. But fahr Regular Season Rick!

UT has been to 5 consecutive NCAATs (asterisk for the COVID year). Only Devoe going his first 5 seasons (with fewer spots available in the field) and Pearl set the bar going 6 times in his 6 years have been as successful. Getting there this year ties Pearl’s 6 straight and if getting to the NCAAT in 2024 AND 2025 it will be something that has never happened at UT. Also 7 NCAAT appearances by CRB would be something that no other UT coach has ever accomplished.

Some don't realize how stable and consistent CRB has turned this team into too....replacing him will be difficult when the time comes...

It's getting so old having a highly respected, future Hall of Fame coach who took us from dumpster fire to a stellar program which puts players in the league and is consistently ranked in the Top 20.

I thought you were talking about a 9 seed in a region. I’m with you now though, the number 9 overall seed, who would be the top 3 seed in the bracket. Yep, according to seeding, only 1s and 2s are “supposed” to go past the Sweet 16.

We’re a jump shooting finesse team. After 3 games in as many days, legs are gonna be gone, especially how we play defense. The teams built inside out are going to be much better off in this type of tournament.
