Ive been singing this song all year. Way too many second place finishes. It might just be BVS, but I feel like we're about to get kicked in the nuts in recruiting these next few weeks. From Kiffin to Dooley to Butch to Peanuthead..... I think we all have varying levels of PTSD. Mine is flaring atm. Really hope I'm wrong. I'll try not to panic when Mikell picks UGA on Thanksgiving. Seaton is the most important one. Land him and keep the class we have, then hit the portal while convincing key players to use their COVID year. Please let it happen.
This is NIL. I don't think our NIL program is as strong as they make it out to be.Ive been singing this song all year. Way too many second place finishes.
In Mikell's case he was always going to Georgia, when they showed interest.
Cai Bates is the interesting one. Why we couldnt close there is beyond me.
It isnt losing the battles to GA and Bama that hurt, its the other, 2nd tier schools.
Defensive line, WR, and Safety are areas of concern.
Hopefully it's bvs, and staff can win one or two.
bama wins then they go to the playoffs. Ohio state , FSU, and Washington.I was going to pull for Bama in the SECG but have now realized Georgia will still get in if they lose. Therefore, I hope Georgia whips their ass and somehow loses in the CFP.
This has been my biggest disappointment with this team so far.we need to drive the basket and finish.
year 2.
Blunt force trauma often results in a concussion. Repeated concussions lead to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (cte). At this point in the rebuild, an 8-4 season isn't the time to panic.
(Not directed at you or anyone in particular. Unless it steps on toes. If it steps on toes, it probably applies.)
I swear, I think our fanbase has blunt force trauma damage. It's like everyone forgot the state of program that this staff took over, the impossible skill deficit, and the win/loss expectations everyone (including this fanbase) were projecting.
To repeat. We'll be alright. The rebuild is ahead of schedule (but it's still a rebuild, folks).
Yeah, everyone should contribute what they can, but I question if we have enough, or any true mega donors involved. It just feels like we need more big money donors involved. Or if they are involved, it's not heavily publicized.contribute
I throw things every week watching my Dallas Cowboys...when Dak has a Dak moment...Blunt force trauma often results in a concussion. Repeated concussions lead to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (cte).
CTE = BVS = PTSD
As a fanbase, we’ve suffered through the
kiffin concussion
dooley concussion
butch concussion
pruitt concussion, concussion , concussion
For anyone who made it through that unscathed is s miracle. Many on my ignore list have reached blithering idiot level and are not going to recover. There’s hope for many of us. Especially those who learned to avoid the headon contact, doubtful any survived that span without at least one concussion…
Oh, and I have never boo’ed any team that I root for.
The technicalities of the NIL, I'm not so sure it's a great idea to publicize big donor involvement. It's supposed to be basically marketing money, and explicitly not a channel for booster money.Yeah, everyone should contribute what they can, but I question if we have enough, or any true mega donors involved. It just feels like we need more big money donors involved. Or if they are involved, it's not heavily publicized.
But it's also easier to believe we got outbid than it is to accept we might have just gotten out-recruited.
