Why do we constantly have some scrub go off for a career high against us.. never fails. TN had a good game plan. If Loyer has his typical game instead of going off for a career high TN wins by double digits thats with us shooting fairly bad. 🤷‍♂️ We'll see em in March/April if Purdue even makes it that far. A good reffin crew that would call Edey for pushing off with his hip/thigh each rebound he'd be fouled out in 2 mins every game. Never seen someone get away with obvious push offs or displacements so much idc how big the olger is. He's not that good just big🤷‍♂️

He was getting creamed out there. Offense wasnt running right. And looked out of whack. He was frustrated. I get it.

White need to write in a fine fund to Heupel's contract. Heupel has been giving the "Just here so I don't get fined" attitude and silent treatment. Dude needs to say something and take a fine. He makes plenty lol. Double it and give the other half to a local charity.

He dribbled it off his foot 3 consecutive times down the floor. That was when he sat down.

Long period in the second half where we couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. Refs called it too ticky tacky on both ends for my liking. Too many touch fouls. Edey flat out dominated us…without him we probably win by 10.

I don't disagree that there is often some serious coping going on.

But also, this is the most free throws for a Tennessee opponent in the Barnes era since 2017 Ole Miss, so of course the fans are going to complain about the refs... because that's all they saw

Even after starting hot the way he has this season he will still get better. New team, new system. He isn’t young though. He’s a senior and played lots of college ball albeit not close to this level. Learning opportunity for him but excited to watch him and see what he can do when he’s really comfortable and settled as the season goes on.

Makes me want to drive up to Knoxville and give a pregame talk to him. Fight dammit, just fight. I’m (as most of you know), I’m a woman and I’ve never backed down from a fight, and don’t understand the ‘taking it’ crap. I want to see that fire I thought I saw last season. There must be a reason why it isn’t the same this year @LA Vol. Do you know, besides the NCAA wants to make sure we’ve suffered enough to satisfy them? If so, pizz on them. I’m tired of laying down and just accepting it just because to give them credibility.

I reached some of the game Anne IMO where really messed up in the second was driving in traffic too much. Seems like very time we did it we turned it over or committed a foul. Didn't pass well, they played solid defense, we did as well.

Thought Barnes took wrong strategy of letting the clock go instead of fouling and preserving clock. It's not like we were dominating the boards even if they did miss.

Thought there were stretches where Barnes should have called timeout and focused his players..... But we say this every year about Barnes, as they say hindsight is 20/20 and he is who he is, a hands off guy who let's his players feel it out. He's a lot more successful than I am so I don't go hard on him, hell he's forgotten more as a coach than I'll ever know.

He turned it over too much. He needs to slow down a bit. He played 32 minutes. lol.
