We wound up where most expected. The difference is that the QB position held things back which is also what most non fans expected. With injuries to the OL being what they were and us having only 2 scholarship QBs I don’t think it was ever as simple as just throwing Nico into the fire. He wasn’t ready at the beginning of the season and when he was finally looking more ready Milton was quietly putting together some decent showings. TBH with the issues and injuries we’ve had we’re lucky we’re looking to finish with 8 or 9 wins.

The loss that we should have avoided was UF. That game our OL showed how lost it was without Mays. Defense eventually improved but then injuries. Offense never found its footing and while some of that was on WR drops early, most of it was the fact Milton limited things and our lack of depth at QB limited things even more.

The more film that got out on Milton the better others were able to defend us.

The more film that got out on Milton the better others were able to defend us.

Milton was predictable and when we lost Bru we lost a huge safety valve. I wasn’t a fab of all the screens to Squirrel but they were effective and something we could do for safe gains.

That a-hole is a Bama dirty-hit specialist. He's already been suspended 3 times this season for targeting and fined 4 times. He was supposed to be suspended tonight but they reduced his suspension from 4 to 2 games.
