Only missed a minute or two of it..tuned back in and had missed whatever he did say. It must have been next to nothing if he was done that quick. Did he say ANYTHING at all?

CJH is a competitor who wants to win. I can promise you no matter how pissed you are tonight, he is 10x more pissed.

What bothers me about Heup’s post game interviews is he always gives his answer and ends with: “at least on the offensive side of the ball.” He is the offensive play caller but the head coach, so he should be involved with the defense, too. That’s two weeks is three post game interviews when he’s made that comment about “not giving up” and “giving effort.”

I didn’t hear it but here’s what he said. Disappointing loss, Georgia is a good football team, we didn’t make enough plays on both sides of the ball, we need to be more efficient.

He saw a moment here and there that looked good with defense. Offense was bad.
That's my short version. Although his was pretty short.
I agree. Even on a couple of UGA’s scoring drives the defense played well and covered well, UGA just made championship caliber plays to keep the drives alive. I thought the defense was solid tonight. Not many teams out there have the personnel to slow down UGA when they are clicking

Heupel aptly summarized the game by saying that Georgia converted most of its third downs into first downs---and,
conversely, UT didn't. That was the story of the first half--and essentially the game. We played pretty good defense on first
and second down but could not stop them on 3rd down--and most of their third-down yardage requirements were more than 3/4 yards. They'd complete a pass--very often to a tight end-- and...first down.

We had a bunch of manageable 3rd-down yardage, but our pass plays/execution was often terrible; we didn't get the first downs, and we'd have to punt. So Georgia would drive the ball for several minutes, score, and then we'd get the ball and it would be three and out, or one first down, and then three and out. Ball game. Our passing game was simply not good when it needed to be.

Can't go 3 and out the number of times we did and expect to win. Our defense is not that strong. How many times in clutch situations did Georgia go to Bowers on key third downs? Our defensive backfield is horribly coached!

We need Tennessee blood leading our troops into battle!
Sure thing. Drop me some names of Tennessee guys who are gonna lead us "into battle". Why stop there. Let's limit our recruiting to in-state players, too. Gotta have guys that bleed orange, right? That's a good thing because we'd be doin' a lot of bleeding if we take that approach. Pfftt....battle. Gawd.
