Am I the only person here who dislikes Mizzou more than UF right now? I can’t get over how cocky Mizzou is and Dorkowitz’ comments last week. It’s Columbia, Missouri. Which is somehow a worst place than UF. But they act like they actually have something.

This Mizzou team reminds me of the 2014 Mississippi State team. A solid upperclassman roster with some random NFL talent. And they’ll soon return to mediocrity as Columbia and Starkville do.

I remember seeing AP say that Nico’s family was fine with Joe being the guy this year, but I don’t recall him saying anything to the effect of Nico’s family not wanting him to play this year.

Regardless, there being a plan for him can explain not benching Joe. It doesn’t explain not putting Nico in for some reps after the game is essentially over.
Good grief, let it go. You don't believe it. We get it.

Couldn’t get there because our DBs and LBs were allowing quick passes. When you can’t defend the quick throws you won’t ever get to the QB
Huh? The defense usually forces quick passes by blitzing. DB’s don’t really determine quick passes.

We blitzed a number of times with more than 4, and either Beck ran or he found a receiver.

Meaning we didn’t have anyone actually covering receivers. To include Herring at one point literally just standing in the middle confused not covering anyone.

Quick passes can be defended if a defender is actually blanketing the WR like they should.

I hate Mizzou and would’ve enjoyed them losing tonight but the reality is, like you said, this season was lightening in a bottle for them. They’ll return to reality next year. And we don’t play them next year either.

So it was better for Florida to lose and not get bowl prep practices.

Also I want to see more of Florida’s class fall apart.

I do hope Napier is there for a long time

Since the end of last year, 2025 has been the season where we should be able to make a run at a national championship. This season was always going to be headline by a bunch of older guys, very few of whom were all conference caliber players. Next year is going to be headline by younger guys and new faces. 2025 will be the year where we should have experience and quality depth across the board.
Thank you! I always thought 2025 would be the start.

The statement though was about pressuring the QB. We tried today regardless of how the receivers were defended. We sent more than 4 multiple times. We tried zone; we tried man. Couldn’t cover them.

I knew Mizzou would be good this year. Super senior-laden team. They'll take a major step back next year imo but Drink is surprisingly recruiting pretty well.

I don't like Drink because he's a pompous dork. But I've never seen anything from their players that makes me hate them. Schrader is an amazing story and a heck of a player. Them continuing to win makes it easier to stomach our loss imo. They were simply a great team this year, and they really should've beaten LSU.

Also, I hate Florida and I hope they lose every game they play.

Hatred for conference teams should be in this order....

1a. Alabama
1b. Florida
