Graham Mertz just trucked three Tiger players. Hth can our QB just not play physical? Admit, we won some games because of Joe, but not sure hes a good or even great QB.

I just said the same thing. Joe with a killer instinct could have been dangerous with our running backs.

I sure hope you are right. We are extremely banged up. We only had one OL starter in the game towards the end due to injuries. They have had a bye to rest and put in new wrinkles. This will be their bowl game. They will want to end our season with 3 straight losses, and I’m sure prevent Banks will help them score with our soft zone defense.
It’s their “Super Bowl” Game.😉

We hired a guy who turned a 13-0 program into a 6-4 program in three seasons because we were desperate and his former boss couldn't convince anyone else to come here. We caught lighting in a bottle with Hendon, a QB our own head coach chose not to start over Joe in 2022. Last year was more likely than not the high water mark of the CJH era and we're stuck with this guy for another five or six seasons because of his contract. Get ready to be good again in 2031ish...maybe.
Did you realize how dumb you sounded after you hit post reply?

No context at all, just because it appears to support what you are trying to insinuate you post it.

UCF has had 3 seasons in the last 25 where they lost 2 or less.

Going from 13-0 to 6-4 is the pattern 95% of programs do .
They have 1 or 2 seasons where everything falls into place and then they hope to build back to that in the next 5 years.

Bama, UGA and Ohio st are about the only exceptions.

UT fell into place with the right combo last year.

Only way to sustain that indefinitely is to kill it recruiting every year.

You don’t go from JP bad to killing it overnight

That hold was actually the right call when they showed the angle from behind. I hate to say it but we didn’t get screwed on that one.
Yes, we did. You have to ask yourself, "would they have called it on UGA?". You got your answer later on in the endzone, whenever they didn't call anything on the UGA guy who committed 3 different penalties on one play, costing us a touchdown.

Our luck there will be a loophole where Milton can apply for another year and Sankey and the NCAA has it out for UT and grant him another year and force Tn to start him

Just my 2 cents, it’s hard to judge the defense fairly when the offense is constantly 3 and out. I think at one point in the first quarter Gary said uga had run 19 plays UT had run 7. That works if you’re scoring but points but punt-punt-punt is hurting our defense. Joe is rev limiter on our high powered offense. It want ever happen but I would love to find out someday how much of our playbook was scrapped because of Joe.
This year is almost over beat Vandy win the bowl game finish 9-4 and get ready for the year of NICO🧡

What does this mean?

We go no better than 9-4 for 15 years! (In fact, only two times in that period). Hire a new coach and he goes 11-2 in year two and after probably 9-4 in year three, we start complaining. Makes total sense.

It means we are handcuffed by JM. You can't watch the game and not think that!

Far from giving up on CJH just can't understand.

I will never quit rooting for the Vols! Just venting I suppose. Am embarrassed to try to kick a meaningless FG.
