2024 Presidential Race

That's a two-way street. If you think your boy xiden isn't the exact same things then you complete ***** moron.

You're the only moron, Earl. Seriously. Nothing points up how utterly stupid rubes are then when they pretend that Dems, or Biden, is no different than the gangster. Do we really need to go over the endless list of examples of how utterly corrupt and dishonest the gangster has been in his life? Do you live under a tree stump in the woods? He made a mockery of the presidency. He's an utterly horrible human being---horrible with a capital H. Biden's been just the opposite. The thing about rubes is that, to justify their hatred of Dems, they say a lot of things that are just demonstrably stupid. But they need a rational for continuing to support a mentally ill gangster, and so saying stupid things about Biden--trying to pretend he's no different than the gangster--is how they try to do it. It's lame.

Its of a different character but I do worry that his ego is too big to allow him to step aside when he should to let someone younger run.

That's BS and you are not a decent enough human being to admit it. I bet you can't name 5 federal politicians that aren't dangerous, egomaniacs and conpersons on both sides of the aisle that's been in office for 5 years or more.

That's pretty much the definition of a politician. Most of DC has been perfecting it for decades; Trump was a novice and it showed.
Dang I feel like we got some young political rookies in here. I am gonna call it the Obama Effect. They thought he was pure and consider their party pure. Kinda like they all self congratulate themselves and each other for “service to their nation”. Anybody that has followed politics their whole lives knows they are all narcissistic, kissing babies and stealing their candy.

The liberal media has got its talking points from Biden Administration....

Their goal right now is to hope and pray they can hold this (economy) thing together until November 2024. After the election they have 4 years to deal with it.

If the economy tanks in the next 11 months, Trump will win a landslide.

They will change the definition of recession, falsify…

We see examples like this all the time. Frankly creepy. A government media.

By requiring social media companies to identify users gives the .gov your information and ability to monitor your activity.

Social media identification also seems also like an invasion of privacy and free speech since people might feel constrained to limit what they say. I completely agree with you that online anonymous speech is a troubling area, but the minute it starts being regulated is the minute we become not a free people. You also have to wonder at this point whether the NSA has access anyway ... and the FISA court is our guardian. There's absolutely the potential for any electronic media to the be message system for revolution or terrorist activity, but that's one of the downsides to freedom ... at least what the Patriot Act didn't take away.

You know as "older" white guys and vets we might be on the iffy list anyway ... can't forget GV and some others here are right there with us. And being loosely affiliated with the Football Forum might really tip it over the edge.

It's been that way for a long time. The top ranking bureaucrats, party leadership and media moguls all either went to school together or are members of the same clubs.
More than that IMO,,the words or branding are identical. Like active ongoing communications between different private companies.

I'm quite certain I'm on a list somewhere.

Of course, they get their orders from the same place.
That is probably 50% of our problem. The glue that allows accountability and continuance of the Republic Is now nothing more than the Fifth Estate. Bureaucracy is the 4th Estate.
Doesnt matter who you send to Congress or WH. Why I am on board with Project 2025. Essential.

I think it was Edward R Murrow who warned that turning the evening news into a profit center would bring trouble and even though this is an old article (and long) it pretty much proves him correct.

You are forgetting the quality and the context of that character trait.

Certainly all politicians at the D.C. level are egomanics. But Trump is so far gone he does stupid, stupid things just because everyone tells him it's stupid. He has an obsession with being uniquely right.

The more the evidence piles up that he's wrong, the more he doubles down on his ridiculous thinking. And then, when its the end of the road on an issue and he simply cannot be uniquely right, he blames someone else for having sent him down that road.

It's so important to him that other people think he's right and successful, that he makes huge mistakes and doesn't care as long as somebody, somewhere, will pat him on the back and reassure him he's right.

It may just be the slant of the article but I don’t like the way this sounds but if Trump does happen to pull off a miracle and win I hope he’s better prepared this time.

Better prepared? He's a senile, bitter, dangerous megalomaniac who's pushing 80. Every time he refers to President Biden, he calls him President Obama. His wrestling villain public appearances are embarrassing--it's something we might see in a remote developing country: A bad, nasty comedy act full of false statements...from, supposedly, a former president. He's looking at four trials. A vile lowlife.

It is just using 3000 people to cull the herd of +10M bureaucrats. No wonder they are out of control and even a full 535 doesn’t have to power or oversee ability.
Time to cull the beast.
