There is no struggle, what she's proposing is an outlandish invasion of the private sector and individual privacy. Now with that said, she isn't wrong about how anonymity has bred incivility and extremism. People have gotten used to having no fear of being punched in the nose for being an ass but it's not the .govs place to get involved.

Depends on how they run it. If its a free for all and any member of the party can go, I am sure you are right. The "stick a thumb in the eye of the country" crowd would show up to get drunk and hoot and holler for him.

But if they either precluded that or governed who came in based on some sort of equal proportions based on the candidates, I don;t know. His resentment-class gimmicks might fall flat after awhile.

You resent the wealthy, you resent those poorer than you, you resent rural America, you resent the ones that don't worship government, you resent independent people, you resent people who don't follow your politics. You and your fellow liberals are the epitome of the "resentment class".
