The "official" Lost thread

It is almost as bad, these shows arent really worth watching to me considering its just telling you everything you already knew. ABC trying to draw in new viewers now ,i think its too late in the game.

is next week's episode 2 hours or something? i thought they said something about it being longer since its the 100th episode.

Wow the numbers on this show will drive you nuts, i forgot that the O6 spent 108 days on the island and Desmond had 108 minutes to put in the numbers. ahhhh

Got into Lost about 2 months ago. I'm up through The Lie (Season 5, episode 2) after watching nonstop with the old lady online.

Easily one of my top 3 shows. I can't imagine how hard it's been to follow in about 5 years when its tough in 2 months.

You're slightly ahead of me. I got hooked on it through a friend about two months ago and I'm about 1/3 of the way through season 4 via dvds. Not sure how I'm going to handle having to wait every week for new shows once I get caught up. Been afraid to read this thread until last week.

Like all episodes that promise answers....disappointing. Nice knowing ya, Daniel. That is cold though that his own mother sent him to the island to kill him. Wow.

WM, check out the To the board thread in the recruiting section.

ok im on it..

Since im back on this board, The one thing that sticks out to me now after watching this episode is how important i think Desmond is going to be to the whole process now Faraday being dead and the episode focusing on Desmond surviving, if you remember they were each others constant and now Faraday dying is a variable and the whole numbers and Des pushing them and causing the chain of events... k my head hurts now.

I don't think Faraday's dying is a variable. I don't see how that changes anything. I think he was always going to die then and that's why he doesn't get to explode the H bomb and the whole hatch thing happens.

Yeah but theres just too much to explain away with the connection Faraday and Des have. I could see Des having flashes of the island in 77 via Farraday and realizing he has to get back to Hawking and rescue them from 77 . Maybe on the way stop and get a flux capacitor for Marty and stop Biff from ruining George's future f*** if i know anymore.

Yeah the whole time travel thing threw a cheezy element into the series. I don't see the point yet.

Hell yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Hopefully it gets good soon. They need to get back to the future. (lulz)
