The Atlanta Braves

And some idiots already want him on the hotseat
"We need to fire Tim Banks" is the clearest indication that someone has no idea what they're talking about.

I don't think people get that if we had a mediocre or worse (basically a Dooley/Butch/Pruitt-esque) staff, this team is 4-5 right now and would absolutely lose to Mizzou and UGA. Would not even be bowl eligible. This team at worst is finishing 8-4. That is patently obvious to anyone watching the games. Heup is winning games this year outside of his typical M.O. and it is beautiful to see.

People are going to be really disappointed with the defense after Banks leaves for a head coaching job. What he’s managed with the talent level is pretty crazy.

I think a certain level of the vitriol directed towards him is just from the USCjr game last year. If we lose that game 42-38 instead of 63-38, I think even our most unhinged fans would think he's doing at least a decent job.

I was watching the Ball Cap sports podcast on You Tube and Jim Riley predicted that Brent Rooker of Oakland will be a Brave in 2024 joining former Athletics teammates Olson and Murphy.

Rooker would be a good left field option.

Thoughts from the board?

It's not a great look, but it's hard to blame Kiffin on this one. What other response is there other than "What f______ world do you live in?" when a guy just stops showing up and ignores requests to meet with the head coach for 2 weeks. And then the kid has the audacity to record the conversation, call out the coach for being disrespectful and files a $40M lawsuit lol. It's like a bad SNL skit.

Every recruiting class at TN should make one trip to Atlanta. Any coach worth their salt should be able to accomplish this.

Every coach that has won the East in the last 30 years.

8 guys. It’s harder than you think.

The difference now I think is that we have a coach whose name wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb if you added him to that list.

Except for McElwain, all of those coaches, at a bare minimum, are good coaches. 5 of those coaches are in the HOF or will be. It would be absurd for Dooley, Butch, or Pruitt's names to appear there. Heupel? His name doesn't seem out of place there.
