Ted Cruz again claims Democrats are Lining Up Michelle Obama to Replace Biden - and will Announce Her Run For President At the Convention Next Summer after brutal polling shows president trailing Trump in five swing states
Republican Sen.
Ted Cruz on Monday again repeated his theory that the
Democrats would 'jettison' 80-year-old President
Joe Biden and 'parachute in'
Michelle Obama as their
White House nominee at next summer's convention.
Cruz appeared Monday morning on Fox & Friends where he was asked by co-host Brian Kilmeade about Obama adviser David Axelrod floating that Biden should 'ponder' dropping out, as this is the 'last moment' to do so, with the presidential primaries starting in mid-January.
In posts on
X Sunday, Axelrod pointed to new polling from
The New York Times and Siena College that showed Biden trailing former President
Donald Trump in five of the six pivotal swing states.
Cruz told Kilmeade that he thought Axelrod's push was 'very serious.'
'It's been my view for a long time that
Barack Obama has been the person pulling the strings behind Joe Biden. Joe Biden is clearly not up to it. I think Obama is making the decision. And Axelrod is Obama's right hand,' Cruz said.
