I think the question would be if he basically ran over the receiver with his body, not making a play for the ball, as the receiver extended for the ball. We would need to see a couple of seconds at least before the gif started to know how to assess it.

That is exactly what I'm saying, the heavy contact started a couple of mom3nts earlier....plus what is the point of PI if it's ok to ride and push a receiver down while he'strying to catch the ball, basically tackle him with your body with your arms up pretending to play the ball...when the ball is in the air?

Levis forced the last one because he had to. No one else was open.

He played well IMO (much better than Tannehill) and at least gave them a chance to win it late.

With that said, the OL and DBs are awful. Partially because if injuries and partially because they aren’t very talented.

Lol he had on predators. I just hate how thin today's cleats are. I don't need steel toe but give me those black adidas from back in the day.

This league wants indoor cleats for 5v5 and indoor but 7s and 11s you can wear regular cleats.

Boeheim was very mediocre from 2014 on…. need to know when it’s Barnes time to go…. it happens to everyone.

Boeheim's decline came because of the demise of the Big East. It was the best conference in college basketball and a huge recruiting tool. He rose with its creation and fell when it fell apart.

Levis played like a typical rookie QB...played really well in first half ...facing the pass rush and hitting receivers in stride....second half back to SEC Will.....picked off to end game and should have had at least 3 int...saying that he is going to be fine ..when Titans develop depth across OL....and find another receiver besides Hopkins......

Both of those positions are so bad it’ll take more than one off-season to fix them.

Plus, Peter Skoronski (their first round pick) is IMO the best offensive lineman by far!! That’s progress haha

It’s not that they didn’t try to fix it, it’s that they tried and failed.

The fact that they evaluated Dillard and signed him with the intention to start at LT is worrying considering he’s about as nimble as a tackling dummy.

The CB and LB they brought in to start also have been average at best. Couple that with a pretty lackluster draft and it gives me reason to doubt the current staffs ability to evaluate talent and build a roster.

That’s where I am with it as well..my only problem with him is his offense philosophy..he easily could have had 2 or 3 championships by now but he’s old school and the game has passed him up..it’s only a matter time of time before Phillip Fulmer comparisons start getting thrown around.

At Tennessee? Are you kidding? Calipari had stacked teams for years and couldn't do that. You can't apply football metrics to basketball, different animals. In Football the better team wins most of the time. In basketball unless it is a complete mismatch, most times a game goes down to the wire and comes down to which team makes there shots down the stretch. In football you can't foul, put them on the line and make them make their shots.
Extending games is a huge part of basketball, can't do that in football. How many undefeated Basketball teams are their half way through the season? Not the same for football.

If only there were players at QB, WR, and Tackle in that draft. Good players, that would help generate fan interest

I didn't think it was blatant PI but we've all seen flags for far less lol. Levis done a decent job just to get them in a position to have a chance at the end. Tough spot to be in for a rookie in his 2nd game on the road at Pittsburgh starting inside your own 15 with around 1:45 to go and only 1 timeout. The real crime occurred on their previous series with the dumb play calls around midfield.

I don't watch a lot of NFL (Titans, Falcons) but I think the NFL officials are much better and efficient that NCAA officials.

Agreed.

Also watched the ACC game. Saw two calls that stood out. Well, er really not anything special. They just called a hold where tackle grabbed a jersey, not a neck. Even called PI, which. was much less easily distinguishable than our guys getting mugged down the field. Impressivr work.

At this point, if you’re a quarterback and you decide to play for Mark Stoops, I have to question your judgment.

Stoops did just as good (or poor) with a wide receiver or Levis at qb. Didn't matter for UK, sucked either way.
