You have a good point about the running game...cold rainy windy weather may actually have more of an effect on Mizzou passing game than it does this years iteration of our offense. You think we lose to Missouri for starters. Then talked about crappy weather, which actually works in our favor, rushing for 240+ per game.
Yes! A good day indeedThank goodness it won't come to that now...worst we will do is 8-4.
The guys played really well tonight...especially considering the refs once again were letting the other team maul our boys with no calls...they had to beat UK and the zebras and pulled it off this time.
We would be dumb to not try and get a legit portal QB. We have no proof that Nico is going to be a star. Any QB that is actually good will see that all he has to do is beat out freshmen to win the job. If we go into next year with Nico and Merk as our QB room that’s extremely risky. I think it’s a safe bet Heupel will go after someone in the portal. Worst case scenario, the competition pushes Nico to become better.
He really is doing an amazing job...with Joe and the WRs struggling so much this year to execute the passing game efficiently, plus the substantial injuries to this already thin team, and the pureCan't Danny White, Donde Plowman, or Randy Boyd do something? It's obvious what the SEC is doing. Every coach that has beaten Saban has been fired or ran off within a couple of years. They know they can't get Heupel for cheating, so are they trying to make it so frustrating for him that he leaves the conference? I don't know what their problem is but this season's penalties have definitely been called only one way. I hate seeing Heupel like that, especially after a win.
It's really amazing we're even 6-2.
I disagree. There were atleast 3-4x a game we had WRs running wide open down the field the first 2 years. Only game we didnt was UGA. We probably have had 5 total so far this year with Keyton dropping two of them. The the sheer low volume of wide open WRs is more related to scheme than Joe missing WRs (which he has missed fewer this year).Missing Hooker is a bigger difference in the open WRs than losing Golesh
