[Glitch]

My confidence in the integrity of college football was very low, it's now pretty much non-existent. It's about as legit as WWE in my eyes.

Of course it will. We have our 1st playoff team in the playoff era, and it gets derailed because of cheating, and there is nothing that can be done to change it.

We would have gotten our rematch with GA on a neutral field in the final.

Couple of snippets from the game thread that night. The cliff notes are: our defense was totally lost and looked defeated. They had guys open on every single play, and seemed to hit the open man every time. They were always able to run the ball away from the attack point. They picked up every blitz.

Hendon and the WRs struggled with the coverages. Our WRs had to make contested catches.

None of it added up. It could've been high-level execution and prep work by USCjr but if it comes out they had our signs then I won't be shocked based on what we saw that night.

Do I believe it could happen? Absolutely. Do I think it happened? I’m not there yet. But it is exactly our luck that we were cheated out of chance to to be in the CFP’s.

I spoke with a loss prevention leader for my former company. He said when metrics are down, it is a good indicator you might have a problem. But when things are inexplicably great, it is a larger indicator. An example would be that a business has 10 locations all within a similar area. 9 of the 10 are effected by macro conditions and are struggling to perform. But 1 location (without an exceptional manager) is absolutely killing it. That was always more grounds for him to be concerned. When things are too good to be true, they typically are. The game prior to ours, South Carolina was destroyed by a terrible Florida team. The next two weeks they handle two playoff contending teams. This went way against their performances for the year. They were outliers and any statistician would be keen to investigate.

I remember every analyst saying how out of the blue that game was for us. We all should've known. They had our signals. Our offense was still good enough to put up decent points, but our defense was at their mercy. They knew what was coming every play. People lie. Data doesn't lie. Three games below look at Rattler's numbers. Arkansas stinks, but out of nowhere he tears up two playoff teams.

Wow, this is all getting interesting. Surely Beamer didn’t buy the sign stealing info from UM??? Not Beamer. He knew he was facing 6-6 square in the face which would put him on the hot seat. He must not have made any purchases this year.

What playoff teams did USCjr face this year? Georgia. They came out gang busters in first half. Kirby was smart enough to figure it out and probably changed his signals at the half. I mean, how the heck this this USC go on the road and have a halftime lead at Georgia?

Jrob drafted so many busts it was unbelievable. Vrabel’s face on draft night was pure disgust when they traded away AJB…

JRob rode that 1 superb draft class in 2019 he had and that draft class is the only reason he got as long a leash as he did. 2020-2022 were complete failures as you said.

2019 though:
Big Jeff, AJ Brown, Nate Davis, Amani Hooker, Deandre Walker, David Long. Only one that wasn’t a big time contributor was Walker.

What's hilarious is that Michigan got exactly what they wanted. TCU. And TCU beat them.

If you believe the sign-stealing impacted the SC game some call you a "conspiracy theorist". Funny how many of those conspiracies turn out to be real over time. The media and the folks with a certain worldview will shout you down and tell everybody how dumb you are. In reality, it is incredibly difficult to win a College Football game, especially in the SEC and on the road. So ANY unethical competitive advantage that the other team has makes your job that much more difficult. Then you factor in some locker room drama and you have a recipe for disaster. To say we lost because we got outplayed is not entirely correct, neither is saying we lost because SC did something unethical. Both factored in. The question is how do you stop this crap. Harbaugh will run to the NFL, so he's basically untouchable. Beamer has done this before. Treat it like recruiting violations, fire him and put a show cause on him. Fine the universities and reduce scholarships. I hate the way the unethical, win-at-all-cost crowd and the politically motivated ESPN crowd have screwed up College Football.

Let's try this again. Below is your statement. I like to think play calling is a very important aspect of coaching and execution. Are you also going to tell me that great play calling will offset bad coaching and execution? I feel you typed a contradictory statement. Maybe you disagree.

It all depends on what is provable and even more so, if the SEC can cover it up, which I think they would be inclined to do.

Yeah we just didn't play well

NFL teams don't care what Harbaugh does in college....they know the success he had at San Francisco...plus this issue being discussed is monitored now since Belichick got caught...in the NFL...hello Raiders, Chargers..and a few other teams... Harbaugh would have a job in less than a week..
