This video literally happens every single game.

Now does that mean Michigan is innocent? No. But trying to deduce this means they are doing anything illegal is asinine.

(Also Pete Thamel’s “sources” told him that Ohio State changed all their signals before last year’s game so Pete might want to check again on what actually happened)

It’s entirely possible Michigan is cheating. I’m not denying.

What’s annoying is the deflategate levels of reach people are coming up with to try and prove anything

Time to bust out a good rule of thumb to keep in mind about any sort of controversy - everything that both/all sides to the story are saying can be true. Typically stuff like this isn't mutually exclusive.

It's possible Michigan is cheating.
It's possible everyone does it.
It's possible this isn't as big of a deal as many would like to make it seem.
It's possible the NCAA has it in for Harbaugh because of the previous recruiting violations.
It's possible Michigan's detractors surfaced this stuff out based purely out of their hatred of Michigan, and not out of "principle."
It's possible the stuff Michigan's detractors are saying about Michigan is true, however cynical their motivations.

It 100% happens in every football game.

We played a team whose signal for quarterback power/inverted veer was to mime opening the S on their chest, a la Cam Newton. Not a lot of dots to connect, but still. We caught on, we made a check, they stopped running it.

Edit: we caught on mid-game, so maybe there are shades of gray here, but the point stands

Matt Rhule stated the only reason NCAAF doesn’t have a headset in the helmet despite NFL and high school having them is because coaches want to keep stealing signals. The whole thing is dumb.
