The Atlanta Braves

It’s really a better shot than last year.
I'm not sure it is. They are way worse, but we are worse too, and I think the gap between the two teams might be wider in 2023 than 2022. This one is also in Tuscaloosa.

The only shot we have at winning is if Joe doesn't do anything that loses us the game. Unfortunately, he is going to have to try and make some plays in the passing game.

The only place we are worse at is the passing game. Which granted, is a big deal. But I’d Joe (however unlikely it is) throws for over 200 yards, hits a deep pass or 2, and 0 turnovers, we win IMO

I agree - it's just such a dramatic drop off though. I miss Orange Bowl Joe so bad. That we beat A&M with his stat line from that game is just absurd.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but YoutubeTV is the best way to TV and no one else is particularly close

It’s almost perfect despite not having the RSN’s, which won’t be an issue next year anyways. Not having a last button sucks and no MLB Network but that’s the most minor inconvenience

Hopefully they just let you buy packages for individual teams, if not that's gonna cost way more than it's worth.

The Padres/Dbacks were $20/month. If that is the assumed price, that’s not terrible. The issue is gonna be this: If you live in Detroit, and you love the Wings/Pistons/Tigers, are they going to be able to come together and offer some sort of package? Or are you gonna have to spend $60-70/month for each individual team? Because right now Bally’s total package is $20-$25 for your local teams. So I’m curious how that will play out.

Im still not sure 20 for one team is worth it, but thats besides the point.

Imo if the MLB acquires the broadcasting rights of enough teams theyll be forced to package teams together to make it worth their time, and eventually youll end up paying for teams you dont want.

It is. I’m willing to pay $20/month for six months for 150 baseball games. That’s $1.25/game.

I think MLB is going to get rid of blackouts permanently (at least Manfred keeps hinting that) and then offer you a per team basis or the full mlb package with your local team. But like I said the big issue is…how much are you gonna have to pay for everything if you want all your local teams once Bally is done?
