Windy's football discussion thread.

Washington leads Atlanta 24-10 in Atlanta.

Baltimore defeated Tennessee today in London 24-16.

Houston leads New Orleans 20-10 in Houston.

The pollsters are slobbering over the Pac 12 this year, and I'm sure it's because they beat USC handily.
Makes zero sense. It's the same USC team that almost gave up a comeback win to Colorado. Going in, I expected ND to win. USC, for all their talent, hasn't really shown anything.

I can see respecting Oregon and Washington (even tho Oregon lost to Washington), but the rest of the PAC12 is still doodoo.

It's the same USC team that needed 3 OTs to beat Zona last week (at home), too.

My guess as of right now is that Washington makes the playoffs. It'll be interesting to see how Penix does against either an SEC defense or a Big 10 defense.

The new AP poll makes me want to smack some media members. They jumped a 2-loss ND ahead of us. So dumb. They really love to t-bag that damn leprechaun.
Yeah as inconsistent as our passing game is, there still teams ahead of us I sincerely believe we'd still beat and Texas A&M would too. Some of these conferences have the easiest path to a playoff spot.

The Jets have defeated the Eagles for the first time in franchise history. There are no more undefeated teams left in the NFL.
