The Atlanta Braves

I wonder if Snit ever entertained the idea of pitching around Harper? It’s not a crime to pitch around the other teams best hitter. Not that it really would have mattered last night but for future reference DON’T PITCH TO HIM!!

“he just happened to hit a home run” implies it never crossed his mind

Snit has the old school manage the postseason like you do the regular season vibe. Dance with the one you brought.

State run media laying down the foundation

But is any of that wrong? We knew for the NLDS, it was Spencer, hopefully Max, and the rest of the starting options were sketchy at best. The pen has been solid, on the whole, but struggled over the last month of the season. The bats have to step up tonight and play like they’ve played the majority of the season. 307 homers for the regular season, only 2 in three games this series. Seven total runs in three games. That’s not gonna cut it.

Sure. I blame them for game 1 (which you’ll see with my post history. But I’m not blaming them being down 6-1 after 3 when their manager ****ed up. Baseball is way too ebb and flow for that

They will have a quick hook I think, gotta punish Ranger

Of course they will. Thomson knows he doesn’t want to take a chance in Atlanta even with Wheeler.

I was thinking about this today. It’s hilarious how Thomson had Aaron Nola, by most accounts a top 10 pitcher the last half decade, pitch around Matt Olson and give him 4 straight balls to face Ozuna. Thomson didn’t even want to give Olson the chance and played a better matchup down 1-0 with a multiple time AS pitcher with two bases open.

And then we have our bumpkin manager on the other side. Who decided to let a guy with a 5.11 ERA in the second half (who throws 91) face the best LH hitter of this generation with Alex Bohm behind him and two outs. One plays chess. The other doesn’t understand the rules of connect 4.
