Recruiting Football Talk VII

If we do lose to A&M, I'll be a bit worried about our record this year and it's impact on recruiting....in other words...beat them aggies.
One game at a time, but if we beat the aggies then the Bama road game and UGA are the toughest games left. We should be able to beat KY and Mizzou on the road as neither environment is especially hostile and we have beat them on the road since Heup has been here. Beat the aggies and 9-3 would be the worst I see us finishing if everyone stays healthy.

I’d liked to know where that guy got that UK has the 4th most conference wins since 2018. I included 2018, and UGA, Bama, LSU, Florida, and A&M all have more.

And….we are tied with them at 20 wins.
Counting and numbers are not a strength in KY.

Mine actually did. Well, not a secret family...but apparently a past family. Got a secret uncle out there somewhere 👀

As to your directions...mine lived right of the concrete blocks, about 2 yonders down the road, off the fork, up past them cows over that there hill. And after they divorced, they lived right across the road from one another, so they had both them hills.
2 Yonders??? Is that opposite of over Yonder....

Once again, this game is simply going to be decided in the trenches. Period. Can we hold off their elite Dline enough to give Milton time, or are they going to run us over and forced to quick throw for short gains and stifle the run? Milton MUST use his feet in the game or he is toast and we are going to see tons of 3rd and 17's... Is our Dline/Edge/LB's going to be able to get pressure and push and have their QB uncomfortable and running/making bad decisions? Will WE be able to stop the run?

That's the beginning and end of it.

Sidenote---- seeing how important the Oline/Dline has become in SEC play, we are truly only an elite Oline away from Kicking everyone's arse. We are improving and getting the talent all over the defensive side of the ball, we have the offensive weapons both young and old, but the only position group left that is MEH, is our Oline. We better be paying big money in the transfer portal at the end of this season.

Seems like he made the right decision by staying at KY imo. He's making $9 million a year to beat a bunch of nobodies and, if I recall correctly, there's a clause in his contract where it gets extended another year whenever his team reaches bowl eligibility.

That's a golden parachute.
A golden parachute with no real end in sight, where you never have to relinquish your job and income...

They call that a Putin Parachute.

In the worst time in our history. And after we vacated wins in addition, I would guess. It has all the looks of a cherry-picked start year.

Anyway, I have noticed from recruiting that Kensuck has no problem lying. 😂

I grew up i n East Tn. and I have no idea what these directions mean. Is Yonder similar to a block?

Out of curiosity, I took a stroll through the official USCj game thread. It's amazing that so many people in that thread had USCj propped up as a good enough team that we'd be damn lucky not to lose that game. Now, people are in here saying that that blow out doesn't look very good because USCj sucks and is not a good measurement.
It’s truly wild isn’t it lol

4th Q. 3rd and 15 after a false start. Bottom receiver will clear out the DB, opening up the entire wide side of the field.

Wright takes the handoff, tries to run up the middle, but gets nothing.

So he bounces it out to the long side of the field for 12 yards.

Led to a FG, but the point is that there was a LOT of running space in this scheme, even when the OL didn't dominate the DL.

CJH and staff had all of last week and this week to put a game plan together to beat A&M easily...also Jumbo teams suck on road see Miami game..2. They lost their Super Bowl to Bama again..so they will be on a down..Vegas line is a sucker bet for A&M fans lol...I say Tennessee wins by double digits ..if we lose then scream at me😉
If we lose nobody's gonna scream at you, unless you scream about us losing. The real question is, are you and others who think this is a sure win gonna scream if we lose?
