That Florida game still haunts me… how in the hell. Yuck. As for the Aggies they’ll be a tough out as their DL is awesome, although their backend can be had for some big plays. Stout up front defensively and their OL is shaky. Mirror of UT basically with more talent

The swamp is a house of horrors, we will always play our worst ball there. We usually play below our potential at home against them too.

I hate bluegrass, but honestly college kids hate everything that isn’t hip hop or pop BS nowadays. Look at the top 40 on the billboard. Not a true band in sight. Jim Morrison was right when he said “all music will eventually be made by computers,” in 1960’s.
You’re missing out on bluegrass, it’s our heritage and I’m a heavy rock, boarding on metal type.

Our biggest scheduling **** up the last however many years was playing Florida before this happens. We always get them when they still have hope for their season.
Not our fault. Florida lobbied for it every year. Some BS about already having FSU at the end of their schedule.

I’m going to give this a listen tomorrow, I’ve always been drawn to bluegrass even though I’m the heavy metal girl.
I lied. I gave it a listen now because I was curious. Yes, it’s got bluegrass under tones while giving that rock vibe, sorta like southern rock. It’s something I’d listen to when I get off work and enjoy, cracking open a cold beer and relaxing. My harder stuff I listen to at work to get me focused, everyone there hates it. 😂.

It’s okay if they show their support to their team.

I want them to experience the Neyland loud and rocking experience! And go home impressed and more importantly disappointed in their team losing to our Vols!

14-1 🤠
I am bringing an Aggie friend to the A&M game

He was generous enough to pay every dime to take me to Aggie in 2016 for our OT loss that day. Returning the favor

He was with me in Knoxville in 2004 for Vols win over FL and said that night, "Loudest stadium I have ever heard..."

Known him a long time; good friend

Call it 'sleeping with the enemy' or whatever. Going to be a great weekend

Read this the other day.

Seems relevant here. Analytics supports going for two.

I've seen teams do that back in the day just based on going for the win on the first TD; and if they miss, going for the tie the second score. This was before there was overtime. It actually seemed more normal when a tie game was still a possibility.

@Weezer doesn't judge if you call yourself sleeping with your friend.

Seriously, sounds good. Hope he enjoys losing!

He may do some hard time. Seems like a pretty solid guy and an upstanding member of his community. Maybe he'll get lucky and the judge will be soft on him. The community should stand up for him. Hopefully he can beat the charges and avoid a stiff sentence.

Those old people in The Villages probably wanted to erect a statue of him before he got busted. I bet he was having a ball being the cock of the walk in his community.

Alas..... it was all in vein because, as the old saying goes, "It's hard out here for a pimp".

Also, I love how “rumblings” of a Gators coach search has reached our board so if true it means they clearly aren’t doing it very quietly which means Napier knows. Probably not long before he throws in the towel on this season, his players give up, and their season collapses.
We really need to move the FL game later so that it is AFTER the point the reptiles "throw in the towel, his players give up, and their season collapses"

You're awesome :). Care to share some of the harder stuff you like? If you are interested in a great new hard rock/metal band from TN then you should check out Sleep Theory out of Memphis. Their lead singer is a black dude with a great voice and they jam. They finally got signed earlier this year, have a couple of very good songs on Youtube and are working on their debut album. I try to spread the word about them in hopes that they make it. Link below to a great song.

From jokes I've seen (and made) I believe you are a bit older than me....maybe a little more than a bit. I've always loved rock but as I get older I enjoy the heavier stuff more and more. Aggressively hard rock can either get me pumped up or mellow me out but always makes me happy. I used to listen to more of a mix of hard rock, metal, classic rock and rap/hiphop but now that I'm in my early 40's I very seldom listen to anything that doesn't have pounding drums and at least some screaming. I Prevail is one of my other favorite newer bands, though they have been a little disappointing lately. Beartooth is another great post-2010 band.

As for Southern rock....I used to love Molly Hatchett and Blackfoot. More bluesy and heavy than Skynyrd. Also love the early Allmann Brothers stuff, especially Whipping Post.

Edit: They have released an EP and full album recently so not just the few songs any more.

PCs were absolutely capable of doing music by the mid 80s, and no they did not take up warehouses. I was doing MIDI sequencing on an Atari ST in '86, controlling multiple rack based synthesizers we used in live performance with a band.
Oh dang. This is amazing.

Moog fan myself. But also have a short Arturia and now an Ableton Push 2, though it's digital, basically an Ableton Live controller but with huge capabilities.

Your story reminds me of guys like Moby talking about playing live House sets in the late 80s, early 90s.
