So I have an idea. On the wide receiver screen that is a recurrent play…have Joe fake the throw, then as A&M bites, then throw the ball to the receiver downfield who was blocking. Intermediate or long ball, don’t care. Just throw that wrinkle in to keep the defense from blowing it up.

Against Arkansas, the Aggies intercepted the wide receiver screen pass. I immediately got worried as the defense jumped the route and was wide untouched to the end zone. 😐

Gotta do something different. Cause we’re headed to

14-1 🤠
Either against SC or UTSA, we did something similar on a td pass. The wide guy settled down for the screen briefly and once the inside receiver had run up field toward the boundary, the wide guy released to the end zone. I thought it was a nice wrinkle to get on tape and have folks thinking before they bit on the screen.

I’ve been to Gainesville. Florida isn’t louder than us. The rest I’ve never been to, but I’d only consider LSU and A&M seriously. Maybe Penn State.

tOSU is. I went to a stinker LSU night game but I assume they get louder when they're not losing to Arkansas. Florida is definitely not louder, probably shouldn't even be top 10. Then again, for any game that a stadium on this list needs to be loud ie Alabama 2022 or Oklahoma 2016....hard to say any stadium is louder than another. I still think Oklahoma 2016 was louder than Bama last year despite us breaking the decibel record on paper. Non-noon kickoffs help.

A guy that works for us is a big conspiracy theory guy. . . he's saying we all need to turn our phones and wi-fi off today. Something about a signal being broadcast. . . anyone have a clue what this nut is talking about?

They’re supposedly testing the emergency alert system today which will cause phones and tvs and radios to give a test message.

There is a test of the national emergency signal today at 2:20pm Eastern. If you are in a meeting or class at that time, the signal will be loud on your phone. Silencing phone will not stop it. Phone has to be off to stop the signal. It is suppose to be loud.
It is weird to think that gov’t can contact every cell phone with a signal.

Testing the emergency response system. He must believe they are sending some kind of death signal along with it lol. I remember last year they did it as well, it was gonna trigger the Bill Gates microchip from the covid vaccines!

On a serious note, people in the Knoxville area will most likely have heard about this. A 29 YO Knoxville deputy was shot and killed on a domestic violence call. He's a former Powell High school graduate, was in school when my daughter graduated. He leaves behind two small children and a wife. He was on his last shift as a patrol officer and was going to be a K9 officer.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and say a little prayer for them. I'm sure they are struggling mightily.

The scum that killed him did take the asphalt temperature challenge thankfully.
Would like to see UT honor him in some capacity next home game

Yeah, he made it sound like something from that 2007 movie "The Signal"
