Maybe he’s been practicing there for a long time, but we have been keeping it under wraps to help with the intricacies of the offense. It will be a true testament to the offensive coaching staff if they can get him apart of that side of the ball. As it will be much easier said than done. Have to take into account the style of offense we play and the procedural aspects that come along with it. As he needs to know all the calls/plays and most importantly what to read when running routes. To me it’s a boom or bust situation, meaning to have him on the field the entire drive, will he be able to add that explosiveness that the offense needs while maintaining key assignment responsibilities when he’s not getting the ball like who he needs to block on a run play or how to set up the block for Squirrels wide screen play. He can easily give the offense a jolt of playmaking ability but could easily become a detriment if he misses a block and leads the offense into an error.
Yessir. Realized I need to keep some of you heathens in line…by some, I mean you @InVOLuntaryIs @VolsDoc81TX caught up?![]()
The good and the bad of it. If our D linemen go to the league after 3 years, it makes recruiting their replacements easier. But I do believe Pearce is a generational talent and will be remembered among the likes of Derek Barnett, Leonard Little and Reggie White when all is said and done.we better enjoy Pearce, he is gone after next season. He'll be a top 5 pick if he keeps this up.
Ah... I am speaking in a much broader view than who buys (or bought) their music. Even so, I know tons of Millennials that love Taylor Swift songs (I'm not one of them). I believe the T & T relationship is being orchestrated for a MUCH bigger picture, but that's a topic for a different forum. So Britney Spears and Taylor Swift's music isn't directed to Teenagers ...you can add Gwen Stefani also...because we all know "she ain't no holler back girl".
