Tell me who is your NFL team and why?


Figured the bye week was a good time to ask this.

I’m a Tennessee Volunteer on Saturday and a Detroit Lion on Sunday.

Born in Michigan but we moved to Knoxville when I was 2.
Probably would have become a Titan fan if they had existed back in the 70’s, but instead I started following the Lions unfortunately.

All Vol.

I was a bandwagon Colt until they did Peyton dirty, then Broncos until he retired.

Now, I watch the NFL but generally don’t care who wins. Except the Pats. Eff the Pats. Im glad they suck now.

I do like that Detroit has a lot of Vols and hope to see Hendon play next season or 2.

When I was a teenager I liked the Dolphins for Dan Marino. When the Titans moved to Nashville I followed them on their Super Bowl run and the next few years. I felt like they did McNair dirty locking him out of the training facility so then I drifted over to the Colts for Manning and then the Broncos. After he retired I’ve been a fair weather Titans fan.

But where I will watch UT games even when we are bad, the NFL is more about turning the TV on in the background. I like it, but I’m not passionate about it.

Same. Have been watching the Cardinals too recently.

Vols fan 7 days a week. Sorry, but I can not identify with a bunch of dirty millionaires who care less about our country and the average working class. Best thing I ever did was stop watching football on Sundays and paying attention to things that really matter. I did the same with baseball in the 1980’s.
