War in Ukraine

Every large system, be it government or otherwise, has some measure of fraud, waste, or abuse. Oversight of this particular program hasn't identified any incidents of note.

You're aware of this because you're losing sleep over the OIG definition of "substantial", and worrying that they don't share your inflated concerns.

Any amount of fraud waste and abuse of our tax dollars is significant. Pull the wool from over your eyes. I realize it’s 100% party for you but it shouldn’t be.

They were stupid enough to admit that they had made a 200 million dollar accounting error because the weapons were cheaper than what they initially projected. Instead of returning that money they just tacked it on top of the program. This will one day be looked back on as a fairly sophisticated money laundering operation that the American people ignored because “Putin bad”.

Bearded is fine with that because his party is in charge. He along with most of the Ukrainidolts would be singing a completely different tune if any R was sitting in the WH.

That seems to be an opinion that is not shared by the OIG, the Attorney General of the current or previous administrations, or a majority of the current or former members of Congress.

you say that like it means something. having to fall back on the trust worthiness of those in DC isn't a winning argument.

there is a thread in here on "Do you Trust the Federal Government", most of us rightly don't trust our government.

You've yet to provide any contravening evidence to show that the OIG reporting is false, so I'm not sure why you are getting wound up, unless it's just for the sake of getting wound up.

Anyone heard anything from the ADL yet?
Meanwhile, in Poland...

Polish Education Minister Przemysław Czarnek announced on Tuesday he has "taken steps" to initiate the extradition of Hunka to Poland for possible war crimes.

Well, that's because the weapons weren't magically cheaper because someone put the "cost to replace" in the report, rather than the "net book value" in the report.

The value of the weapons was always the net book value.

Feel free to get upset about it though, if it helps you feel good about not supporting us sending weapons to help Ukraine defend themselves from Russia's ongoing invasion.

They openly admitted….their words. ”We have a surplus because the weapons were cheaper than we thought “ They could have returned that money. But your point is correct. If I were President we wouldn’t have spent a dime on this.

and they haven't provided any evidence to show their report is true. but its ok, you trust the government.

You do know that you can read the outcome of the OIG investigations, don't you?

Ukraine Investigations Dashboard

Considering we are spending literal millions on oversite of the aid going to Ukraine, more so than any foreign aid program in the history of the United States, and investigating claims of fraud or abuse when they arise, what else exactly are you looking for in terms of accountability?

I’ve seen nobody here support the stupidity that occurred in the House of Commons and in fact several spoke out how it was wrong. But sure keep making **** up Moe there is no need to change your tack now 🤡

What kind of goals did they set? Again with this nonsense? Putin clearly spelled it out in February 2022.

1. Demilitarization of Ukraine
2. Denazification
3. Protecting the Russian population in Donbas

The Denazification will likely last past 2025.if.. that will likely be a decade or more of Russia going in every rat hole, bunker and hideout until those vermin are defeated and their will to fight is broken.

Making what up? You just acknowledged they stupidity (evil) that happened in Canada... and indirectly what has been going on in Ukraine.

No need to create any false narratives on my end. I'm being further validated.

So if we didn't budget more money than taxes brought in, there'd be less fraud and waste in government expenditures?

Absolutely we should not be spending more than we bring in. It’s great that you agree we shouldn’t be sending money we don’t have to Ukraine.
