Have you cleared out your notifications (the bell icon) that show when you’ve had a reply that you want to reply to? (You’ve been away for a bit, so you must have had a ton.) Those are the only way I can keep up with replies on a fast-moving thread.

Otherwise, the upgrade didn’t affect anything in the reply department. I either work off notifications (and posts that show as unread), or go hunting.
