The Official Zone Severe Weather Thread

80 degrees at 3:30 this morning, I wish every morning could be like that 😁

Volcano in the S. Pacific dumped enough water vapor into the atmosphere to increase total by 30%. How many years doesn't it take to precipitate that water out? Does it mean that we are going to see record snows this year? Inquiring minds and all.......

Coral dying sucks. From what I can read about it, it's primarily in the upper keys, and hopefully begins to ease off.

Had some nasty squalls last night, knocked power out 3 times. Only a few minutes first 2 times, about half hour the last. Getting one now. Intense.

Be safe. I don't remember tornados down there except during Hurricanes. Is that right?

Officially? I don't know, but that's the only time I've heard that one had actually touched down. I've seen and heard warnings when there were no Hurricanes, but don't remember a touchdown.

I know after seeing Sanibel last year after Ian that there had to have been a tornado or tornadoes involved by the way some trees had been twisted apart.
