2023 NFL Offseason Thread

Where would you rank Danny White in QB fame for Cowboys, he had a disadvantage following a legend in Staubach and remember he did lead them to 2 or 3 NFC Championship games in a row so he wasn't a scrub... Well anyway I got Staubach 1 and Don Meredith 2 followed by Aikman, White, Romo topping out top 5. I probably would put Aikman 2 thinking about it he does have 3 rings...
Sounds about right. The early 80’s were my breakthrough formative years in having an idea what I was watching on the field, and I remember wondering why Danny took such a scathing from the fans and media. You covered his chief sin…next guy up after a generational QB retired. He was an underrated talent who took over an aging but still talented squad coached by a legend who had to put his famous hat on micromanaging Staubach all the previous successful seasons. Sometimes the difference between great and very good for a QB’s career is that one break on a play or set of plays. Always wondered what if The Tuck doesn’t happen for Brady. What if EVERYTHING doesn’t go right for Joe Montana on that drive against the Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game? White did everything but win in that game, and with the stage of the Super Bowl and still remaining talent, they’re front and center and have a chance to string some legacy the next few seasons. Instead you have The Catch and what happened.

Because the Cowboys wanted him as a punter...at least initially.

Really think Clowney wasn't as productive as a lot of people thought he would be, never became the great pass rusher he was groomed to be......

So two games now in the past year where they just decided not to finish the game after an apparent serious injury. Is this the new norm? Seems like if you feel you have to cancel the rest of the game then your product has some serious design flaws.

Meaningless pre season game ....

Lebron punching the air rn. He's spent the last 20+ years amassing wealth to become an owner, lol.

I didn’t realize he dropped his model gf that he dated for a while. Apparently that was last summer, and here he is engaging and impregnating the richer girl after presumably a year of dating. Is Kelce a gold digger?

Might be but he isn't doing anything that 98% of all we would do if they could marry the owners daughter...HHH line 1...

Hunts are bigger bank than the NFL. Old oil money.
Sam Williams good grief I'm sure he will be getting cut soon by Cowboys, also looks like 49ers maybe looking to trade Trey Lance he got beat out for backup QB by Sam Darnold....
