Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

I had heard of the pain relief alternative to opiods, but never thought about how until that acclimation period there'd be increased ER trips and falls for a group more prone to that anyway. I like Gupta.
Yeah, the silliness factor is real, from what I see upclose and personal, lol. đź‘€

But I also see 60+s using alcohol instead for the same reasons, and when you get enough on board to get the same results (“effective dose”), it seems to be much more dangerous for falls, etc., plus way worse potential organ damage. And then the Big Pharma stuff (Valium, Ativan, etc.) is often horrible for the elderly, with lots of unexpected side effects.

Always interesting to me that when people trumpet “there’s no medical evidence!!!”, it’s because when you make something Schedule I, no one is allowed to research it. So, duh.
How it became schedule 1 is a tale in itself. Thank you 🙄, Harry J. Anslinger.

if I am treating my pain, best plan is to find way to keep listening to the music with minimal trips to the stereo or kitchen
