Why is it weird? It behooves the Reds whenever the Brewers lose. Whatever's already happened is irrelevant to that pointweird to be thanked by a team that you're also 5-1 against
"That was a good series, against a really good ballclub, in my opinion," Braves third baseman Austin Riley said Sunday evening. "I felt like I played three football games, three longer games. To come out with two (wins) in those is nice."
"I don't know that I've ever been this exhausted after a series before," Braves manager Brian Snitker said. "Fans got their money's worth in this series. They saw some great baseball, exciting, the whole thing. The hottest team in the National League, we took the series. That's good."
“That team, they’re gonna have a fun summer here,” Snitker said of the Reds. “I’m glad we don’t see them anymore.”
Happy to play you next week, next month, in October, next October, five Octobers from now.Why is it weird? It behooves the Reds whenever the Brewers lose. Whatever's already happened is irrelevant to that point
As for the Braves vs the Reds, when they played in April the Reds were a completely different team personnel wise. As for their most recent series:
Braves hold off Reds again to win tight series | Chattanooga Times Free Press
Your manager wants no part of playing my Reds again:
Braves continue rolling by winning ‘very stressful’ road series against Reds
I'm certain that he'd much rather see the Brewers in the playoffs.
That said, I think this is your year and not mine. My team is building and is making some great strides but I think your Braves are the favorite to win it all this year
Dude . . . You've got a fun team, but stop acting like the Braves left town in a cold sweat.
We've heard 1,000 post game pressers. I'm pretty sure Snit could make Tic Tac Toe sound like manual labor.Cold sweat is your words. The words of your manager are "exhausted" and "I'm glad we don't have to play them anymore". I think that's pretty clear. Is it cold sweat? I don't see any reason to re-phrase Snitker's words. They were clear
Bathroom / food / break it up@GAVol this feels like you might know the answer. Listened to Braves on the radio this weekend and Ben Ingram/Joe Simpson did the call. Why does Joe do play by play for two innings in the middle of the game and then they go back to Ben?
