I know you guys are busy talking about catching herpes and bangin fish on cruise ships, but does anybody remember what game it was that Heupel quieted Neyland with a wave of his hand?

Under the good news or bad news category, this is what my clock was saying when I woke up this morning (didn't take the picture right away). Bad news is it's probably broke. On the other hand, I was sleeping very well under the covers so climate change shouldn't be a problem. Even if it is 158F inside; it was still only 78F (and mostly sunny) in this part of middle TN outside ... after the week that saw "the highest recorded global temperature" ... or some such claim.

I sincerely despise lazy people...

We have a position that we've been searching for a candidate for at least 9 months. Less than 50 people in the country hold the certification we need. Well, found one that's interested and applied to the job.

Now can't get the hiring manager to interview. He's "too busy."

Also hasn't interviewed the other 80 candidates I sent to him either...

doesn't overly bother me. We beat everyone but the #1 team in the nation with the leftover talent we had. Even a Top 10 class is a BIG improvement over what we have/had. as long as we are showing improvement, I am happy.

I just want to beat the brakes off Florida in the Swamp, Bama in Tuscaloosa and make Georgia our prison bitch this year.

I'm not asking for a lot.
